I stepped into the anime forum today. Wow... the stupidity level in there is scary gonk . Moving on... Hoorah for three day weekend, but it’s almost over, dammit. I typed the first part of the Naruto anime up last night, when the internet was down… and the second part this morning… so it’s in two. EDIT: WOW. How stupid of me. I completely forgot to write what I thought of the FMA dub. Well... just copied and pasted from guild:

Overall it wasn't bad. Ed's voice sounded too old, but isn't too hard to get used to. Al's I actually liked, but like most said, he doesn't seem to have too much emotion. I thought Rose was acceptable, though Lust... I actually didn't really like too much. Script changes did kinda bother me. Okay, most of them I just let pass by, but this one really bugged me. There was one scene in the dub where Ed says something like "no one has successfully revived a human... but scientists will one day, they're the closest things to god". I can't remember what he said in the sub, but if he did say something like "scientists will one day"... I'd find that very disturbing and contradictory to the concept of the show...

3 years eh? They sure just pulled that out of their asses. The new Orochimaru looks like Gaara, just bandaged up… Nothing too much I wanna say. Everything was pretty straightforward. I’m interested in seeing who all the Akatsuki consists of though…

Whoa… new OP and ED, didn’t even know. I’m really falling behind in naruto, episode 107 already aired I believe… wow. A whole month behind… so sad… so sad, but it’s really just not a priority anymore, at least not until the fillers stop, which apparently it does at 107! YES! Almost there! Just have to get through this filler arc… Oh yea the OP just makes me drool. Animation was so gorgeous, and I really gives me something to look forward to. I mean… if the actual upcoming fight scenes look drool-worthy like that…then yay! Bleh... the episode itself was mediocre at best. Besides the boring fight scenes and corny comedy, the recycled sap story really bugged me. Now the whole Gaara, Naruto life comparison was acceptable, and I loved that arc, but again… this one just seems so dull. Heck, the comparisons were already blatant, but yanno, they still had to stick in unnecessary flashbacks, just incase there were really some dolts among us viewers... I dunno… I’m exaggerating… it just seemed so meaningless. Oh, and I’ve concluded that Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura in the filler episodes are really ROBOTS! Swear to god they say the same things over… and over… and over again… so damn predictable. Bleh, oh well. Oh… and the ED… I guess it balances out the awesome OP, cuz it really kinda sucked. Well… it’s still not crappier than the second ending.

I was really tempted to skip 106 and just watch 107, but I didn’t. Oh well… basically same gripes about 106 as the previous episodes. Too cheesy, predictable, and recycled and the fact that it disrupts the story. Though I am kinda glad they bunched all the filler eps into one story instead of a whole bunch of crap. That’s one thing I’m grateful of. It’s also nice that they actually did the transition to the main plot pretty faithfully. Hahah… they actually hospitalized Sasuke again… what a loser. Such a drama queen. Sakura’s annoying too, but the fight was actually planned out pretty nicely. Really liked it. Anyways! Yay Shikamaru! He’s gotta be one of my fave characters… Chouji and Rock Lee too. Can’t wait for the upcoming arc… cept the Rock Lee part that’s coming up was kinda stupid. I didn’t like the whole drunken fight in the manga.

I thought the first segment was stupid and dull… the second was stupid and hilarious…. And wow I thought it couldn’t get any stupider but it did! Love it! Guess it’s just one of those shows that are so stupid it’s funny.
