Flower

Every flower has a petal, every flower has a stem,
Every flower needs water to grow like them;
The roses and and the lily's across the grass,
Flowers dance to the rhythm of the breeze, to them it's better than Jazz.
Every flower needs soil, and every flower needs sun,
Every flower needs a friend to play with and have fun.
Every flower needs a mom, and every flower needs a dad,
To give them stuff that they never had.
Every flower needs a mate for every blue moon in the sky,
Every flower needs affection and love to get get by;
The harsh cold nights to wake to a beautiful day,
If you think about it, flowers are like us in every way.
They need food and water, and love and friends will do.
If we need these things to survive, then they will need them too.
