Wow-wee, today was quite a scorcher of a day weather-wise! Hot, hot, hot! sweatdrop

And poor Pora! She's a polar bear, so she's used to much cooler weather. I felt so bad for her that I ran the AC full blast all day to try and keep her cool. I may have to build a icy snow retreat for her for the summer months.

Since my house was too cold for me to be comfortable in and the outside was too warm to enjoy wearing too many layers of cute clothes, I decided to head over to one of the nearby lakes and spend the day playing in the water. I figured Kaya wouldn't enjoy that activity, so I left her in the cold house with Pora. She's got a fur coat; she'd be fine.

I spent the day staying cool in the water. After finally getting my fill of swimming and splashing, I finally decided that the day had cooled down enough for me to feel comfortable returning home. But the house was still so cold that I decided to treat myself to a fancy evening out while the house warmed up. So, I gussied up and am about to head out to a wonderful night on the town. I'm hoping to run into one or two of my friends out there since I couldn't find anyone to swim with me earlier today.

Even still, I look great and feel great and am ready to play the night away.... heart
