Adventure in the Land of Monsters Part 32&33
Part 32

Chikaru had gotten the medicine to the hospital just in time. And for days Kitko was trying to recover from her massive injuries. The doctors also made sure that Chikaru was alright as well; binding the few wounds she had. Chikaru would sit next to Kitko’s beside every day. She wanted to make sure that she was there when she woke up. “I wish I knew if Sandina was ok like I know Kitko is… But Sandina has her part of the mission now. She has no choice but to get the information we need to find the vampire’s new weapon. The spies never found anything within the castle and Keto has to know where it is.” Chikaru thought as she drank some tea. “But… that might mean her having to give up everything to do so, even her body. Her life she would rather die, but if he gave her no other choice she would have to take it.” Chikaru remembered what they had talked about in the forest. “I cannot let her sacrifice go unanswered. Once Kitko is well we can get out of here. The Blood Festival is over luckily but that won’t stop them from getting out and finding Sandina. They’ll keep their attacks up. They’ve plagued the areas looking for her. The cities have been the only haven for people lately. If the monsters keep this up it won’t be long till their army with certainly outdo ours.”
Chikaru sighed and looked over at Kitko. “Her wounds will take only about another week to fully heal. Sandina, please don’t die.”
Sandina pulled herself together. She got up and stomped her foot. “Dang it, I’m a demon huntress! I can’t let this stop me from achieving my mission.” She kept punching and kicking everywhere to see if there was a weakness of some sort on the walls. Every time a barrier would throw her back and she’d fall. Remembering all the places she had hit there was no use, she was completely tired and everything was protected perfectly. “Let me out of here! Let me go home!” Sandina shouted as she kicked the walls. Keto came in licking the blood from Grace off his lips. He smiled when he dropped the bloody knife.
“I was never good with keeping deals… I have only one woman I want. That centaur is where she belongs now, in the pits of hell.” Keto chuckled and Sandina backed away from him. “So, you’re awake after all this time. Have you enjoyed yourself?”
“Stay away from me Keto.” She jumped up and kicked him across his face. Keto crashed into the right wall and smiled.
“I see you’ve got enough energy to spare.”
“I told you to stay back!” Sandina raised her fists, ready to hit him again.
“Now is that any way to treat your lover? You are stuck with my Sandina for the rest of eternity. You will never get away. You’re mine.”
Sandina thought for a moment and then sighed. “Then that’s always a wonderful thing. To belong to someone like you.” Keto stopped for a moment a bit confused. “Who am I fooling; to have you with me every night and to always be with you. Who could ask for more? Can we not just destroy Von’s machine and always be together?”
Keto smiled with delight. Floating over to her he landed in front of her. Sandina didn’t move but kept trying to look at him lovingly. “I can see you are lying Sandina, but I can also see you’re trying to love me.” He gently grabs her right shoulder with his right hand. “If you truly want Von’s machine destroyed you must prove that you love me and give up everything to me. Let me be the master and you be my lover. Sleep with me tonight without any potion. Show your passion only to me. If you cannot satisfy me you will not be lead to destroy Von’s machine. But if you can satisfy my thirst for your love and your body, then I will let you destroy my uncle’s machine and then we will be together for all eternity. What is your choice?”
Sandina pondered the idea. She didn’t want to have to force herself to sleep with him, but this could mean everyone she cared for would be safe if she did what he requested. “What exactly must I do?” She asked with a sigh.
“You must make love to me… with such passion and fire that I will be convinced that you will be worthy enough to destroy my uncle’s machine. You already know what happens if you fail to please me tonight.”
“May we please… may I please... just see some light? I have not seen light or any sort of morning for it feels like my body has weakened greatly from being in the dark. Allow me to step out into the light and regain some strength.”
Keto cocked an eyebrow. “What kind of fool do you take me for? Letting you outside you will run. No, you will never see the light of day until you please me.”
“But I can never please you unless I have some sunshine.”
Keto grabbed her arms and forced her onto the floor. “SATISFY ME OR DRINK THE POTION!” Sandina felt weary as he had her pinned to the floor. In her heart she mourned with the idea of having to sleep with him again. Sandina struggled to get him to let go. Then in his anger Keto took the potion he had with him and forced it down her throat. “Good girl. Now, make your move, if you can quench my thirst than you will be allowed to see the sunshine as well as my uncle’s head on a silver platter.”
Sandina balled up her fist. “NO! FORGET IT! I REFUSE!”
Keto was surprised that the potion had not taken effect. Then he remembered what Grace had said. “Of course, she has to have a time where she doesn’t drink the potion because her body gets use to it. Then I’ll have to let this day slide.” He thought as he stared into her eyes.
“LET GO KETO!” Keto leaned forward and caressed her neck with his fangs before slowly sinking them into it. Sandina could feel all of her energy slipping away as he drank her blood. She wasn’t able to struggle as hard as before. Her fists were unclenched and her eyes were half shut. When he finally let go of her neck, she wasn’t moving at all. “There, there little Sandina, you’ll feel better after some rest. Keto placed his hand under her chin and licked his teeth. “Your blood does taste very sweet though. You’re plenty tasty for a half-breed.”
Keto got up off the ground and walked towards the door. “Now stay here and be a good girl. I’ve got to run and do some errands. Don’t worry. I’ll be back in a day or two. That should give you more than enough recovery time.” Sandina could barely sit up. Keto smiled and shut the door behind him. He took the key and locked it. Smiling he left to go take care of his uncle. “With her mind only on him, she’s holding back. I’ll finish him off and then she’s got nothing better to do than be with me.”
The doctor that was attending to Kitko walked up to Chikaru with a grin. Chikaru looked up at him. “Kitko is going to make a full recovery. She needs another couple days to rest though.” Chikaru smiled up at him and the doctor walked off.
“That’s a huge relief.” Chikaru walked out of the hospital and looked across the bridge to the monster side of the city. In her anger she shouted, “YOU STUPID MONSTERS!”
A demon shouted from across the bridge, “FOUL HUMANS!”
“I should just go over there and slay as many as possible. They captured Sandina and they aren’t letting her go.” One of the remaining teachers placed his hand on Chikaru’s shoulder. She looked back at him.
“Suicide is not the answer, nor is raw attack. Give Sandina time. She knows her mission and we know ours.” He patted her back and walked off.
Frustrated she kicked a wall; leaving a huge dent in it. “When I get my hands on Keto, he will regret ever kidnapping Sandina in the first place.”
Feeling useless from all the energy that had been drained out of her she laid back, staring up at the ceiling. “What can I do now? I know this place is too heavily guarded to get out. The barriers don’t help either.” She sighed and laid the back of her wrist on her forehead, letting her elbow rest on the floor. “Crapolas. I don’t know what to do now. But there has to be a way out. No way he thought of everything.”
Another vampire heard Sandina in the room. A little curious he opened the door and walked in. “A human?” He thought cocking his head to the left. Sandina saw him and quickly stood up. “So I was not mistaken you are a human.” The man sniffed the air and laughed. “Well a half-breed anyway.”
“Another vampire? This day just keeps getting worse!” she thought as she braced herself.
The strange red headed vampire stepped forward and she took a step back. She had herself backed up against the dresser and she readied herself to fight him. He put his hand on top of her head. She remembered suddenly what Keto did to her and she flinched. The vampire closed his eyes and read all her thoughts and memories. “You have so much pain and sorrow.” The strange vampire opened his eyes and looked down at her. She was shaking slightly and had her eyes shut tightly. “It is alright. I’m not here to harm you.” Thinking he was lying she kept herself ready for whatever would happen next. He patted her head. “It’s ok, I understand why you do not trust me. Let me just prove it to you then.” He grabbed her wrist gently and led her out of the room. He was able to block the barriers from stopping them and led her down the hallway. “You will not be safe here. I can take you somewhere safer.” Once outside he flew with her on his back towards a house deep in the mountains where a werewolf friend of his lived. Sandina was so tired she fell asleep on his back. Smiling at her he said, “Sleep well young Sandina.” Landing in front of the werewolf’s house he let Sandina rest.
The shock on his friend’s face when he saw Sandina was remarkable. “You actually drug a human to my home Takuya? Why in the world would you do that?”
“Just let us stay here. She’s the girl that has all the demons on look out for. She needs rest and a place to hide.”
“And you want to hide her here?”
“Yes.”
“Are you crazy?!” He said pulling Takuya in and quickly shutting the door. “A human in my home?! I know we can hide her stench easily, but that girl is a demon huntress. She will try to kill us.”
“Look Tsuki, we have to help her. Do you realize what would happen to my love if this girl got into Von’s machine?”
“You and human girls Takuya. You have a soft spot for them.” Tsuki said scratching his head. “Well, I do owe you a lot so I have no problem letting her stay here.”
“Thank you Tsuki.” Takuya laid her gently in the spare room and covered her up.

Part 33

Walking back out of the room Takuya sat down with Tsuki at a table. “Do you really think its wise hiding a wanted girl here? True my house is well hidden and hiding her scent is easy. But she being a demon huntress and scared. She’ll be hell to deal with.” Tsuki said drinking some water.
“I know it’s dangerous, but like you said she’s scared. This area is crawling with demons trying to snatch her. I don’t blame her. She’s been beaten, kidnapped, raped and so much more that her spirit is growing weaker. I’m surprised with how much I saw in her mind that she’s even still alive.”
Tsuki sighed and leaned back in his chair. “I suppose you have some plan to return her to the humans?” Takuya stayed quiet; a slightly puzzled look on his face. “You have got to be joking, were you planning on keeping her?”
“No, I just didn’t think of a way to return her to the humans yet.”
Tsuki yawned and stretched. “Well, I’m going to get some rest. You’re welcome to stay in the other guest bedroom if you want.” Tsuki slid open a door and went into the main bedroom. “Good night.” He said sliding the door shut.
Takuya smiled and said “Good night.” He walked down the hall and peeked in on Sandina. “She’s insane but brave.” He thought as he shut the door again. Sandina heard the click of the door and her eyes opened a little. She noticed she was in a completely different place. She looked down ad saw she was covered up. Yawning Sandina turned to her right side falling back asleep.
Takuya smiled and walked across the hall to another room. Quickly he slipped into his own bed and fell asleep.
Early the next morning Sandina woke up shaking. She rubbed her arms like she was cold and looked around. “This place… it’s defiantly not the same. The energy is different.” She thought as she got out of the bed. After adjusted her robe Sandina reached for the doorknob. To her surprise it started to turn itself. Her heart began to race and she backed a little away from the door. When it had opened Takuya stood in front of her smiling happily. “It’s good to see you awake. I’m glad, you look a lot better from yesterday, more color is in your face.”
Seeing his fangs she took a couple steps back. “Oh man, so I wasn’t dreaming.” Sandina thought as her heart began to race. Tsuki stood behind Takuya. He went in and stepped in front of Sandina. Placing his hand on top of her head she closed her eyes quickly. “I’m dog food!”
Tsuki smiled and patted her head. “Don’t be afraid. I ain’t going to eat you. I’m not that kind of werewolf. If I ever eat a human it’s out of defense.”
Takuya came around and stood behind Chacane. “You’ll be ok. I’ll protect you from now on.”
Fearfully she looked up at the both of them. “Do you want proof that we mean no harm?” Tsuki asked bending over a little so he could look her in the eyes. “What exactly you want us to do? Cause I’ll do anything.” He rubbed his hand down her backside. “Even sleep with you.”
Takuya hit Tsuki upside his head. “You are such a womanizer.” Tsuki removed his hand from her back and rubbed his head. “Sorry about that, this lecher never knows when to hold back his hands.” Tsuki shrugged and kept rubbing his head.
“Dang Takuya, you hit hard.”
“Teach you not to go after an innocent girl.” Sandina smiled and giggled slightly. Takuya smiled. “Well we got a smile out of you, that’s good. But like I said, I’m going to protect you from now on. I’ve heard lot of Von’s plans and I think they’re wrong so I’m going to make sure you do not end up in Von’s grasp.”
A knock echoed on Tsuki’s front door. “Now who would come here?” Tsuki went to the front door and opened it. Keto stood before him. “WELL! Long time no see old buddy! How have you been?”
“Very good, I found out some disturbing news from one of the men who were at a bar with me that my girlfriend was wandering around blind. Since you’re so knowledgeable about human whereabouts I was wondering if you could help me locate her.” Keto knew what had really happened. He knew Takuya had taken her out of the inn.
“Well of course I’ll help you find her.” Tsuki said with a smug grin. “But you have to remember that you do already owe me like four women in my bed for me to play with. This just adds to your debt.”
“I know that. I have the women ready and they are stoked to have their way with you and you with them.” Keto said with a devilish grin. Sandina recognized Keto’s voice even though it was far off down the hall. Her body shook with fear.
Takuya saw her and walked around. “Don’t worry, I’ll handle this.” Takuya walked out and saw Keto. “Hey man, long time no see. How’s the family?”
“Dead, luckily. I poisoned Von a day ago now. He’s going to die slowly and painfully. I’m making sure that my woman doesn’t have to worry about him anymore.” Smelling Sandina he smiled. “Mind if I come inside? The sun is too close to rising for me to stay out here.”
“Of course!” Tsuki let him in and shut the door. “You know you’re always welcome here Keto.”
Keto saw Sandina down the hall out of the corner of his eye but played it smooth. He removed his eye patch reveling the memories of her in the dark room with him alone. “I see your eye has healed. Still able to hypnotize people?” Takuya asked.
“Very well. I got this all healed up now and with only a glance will it take to get people under my control. Sadly they also have to be looking into mine.” Keto said running his hand through his hair to get it out of his face.
Takuya saw a glimpse of his thoughts in his own mind and looked at Keto. “So that girl back there is the one Keto is messing around with. That’s why she’s so scared right now and that’s why he’s acting so calm. We’ve got to keep them separated some how.” Takuya thought.
Keto smiled and disappeared. He grabbed Sandina and reappeared in front of Takuya and Tsuki. “So, how long have you had this little beauty? She got away from me before; maybe a nice little collar around her neck will be nice.” Keto licked the back of her neck.
“LET GO!” she screamed at him, struggling to pull away.
“So wait, this human is yours?” Tsuki asked confusedly.
“Oh yes, she’s mine, she just has a bad habit of running away when she knows not to.” Keto nuzzled the left side of her neck licking it playfully. “You and your split personalities can let her go now.” Takuya said getting ready to draw his sword.
“Aww, now Takuya, what’s the fun of having a pet human if you can’t train them and play with them?” Keto swayed his hips lightly. “Besides, I already claimed her and everyone should know that by now. I even left my mark on her.” Keto grabbed Sandina’s wrist and pulled away the two gloves with ease. There were two black wraps around her wrists. “She belongs to me now. I can destroy her soul with one flick of my wrist.”
“Would you do that?” Takuya asked getting ready to draw his sword.
“Of course not. But you two know that the penalty for thievery is death right?”
“We didn’t steal her.” Tsuki growled.
“I see, then how did she come to be here?” Keto asked smirking and he held Sandina closely.
“She seemed trapped and I wanted to help her. You know how I am.” Takuya said.
“So you’re the thief who stole my property?” Keto asked playfully as he stroked Sandina’s hair.
“I belong to no one! Let go Keto!”
“She asked you to let go!” Takuya shouted.
“And she’s not going to get what she wants until I make sure she gives me what I want.” Keto said swaying his hips against her again.
Tsuki thought about a threesome and chuckled, but let the thought slide out of his mind. “You should let her at least rest. I can tell by the look in her eyes that you’ve done enough to her for a while.” Tsuki said patting Sandina’s head.
Keto smiled and pushed her into Takuya. Takuya caught her so she wouldn’t fall. “Now listen well, if she isn’t kept under lock and key till I get back I will make sure you are both held for thievery and disposed of.” Keto spread his wings. Tsuki smiled evilly and showed Keto the door. Keto made a call on his radio and a phoenix swooped down and protected him from the sun’s rays as they flew.
