Dangerous.The one thing he'd actually said about himself.I lay in my bed and stared across the floor to the left out of my window.Thinking.Yes, I knew he was dangerous.But not to me.Never to me.But he didnt believe that.Now he was gone.I was pretty sure, though, he would return.I could tell that he couldnt stay away from me as much as I couldnt stay away from him.I missed Jerico so much.For some reason it hit me that I was falling and I was okay with it.Strange i'd never thought it was okay to be dependent on anyone.But I was in love and I didnt care. So despite what my mother had said about men I was in love with one.
I rolled over and closed my eyes picturing Jerico.His Black hair brushing on my cheek.His midnight blue eyes staring down at me.His perfect white teeth shining.I wished I could feel his skin on mine.Always so warm yet cold and fit to my body heat.
Something scratched on my window and I turned back over.The first thing I saw were red flames watching me I jumped back falling out of the bed.I shook my head and began to cry."No",I mouthed shaking my head.Aaron opened the window and slipped in.I tried to crawl away still on my back.Aaron followed.He was the spitting image of his cousin Jerico.But his eyes were what separated them.Red eyes boar down on me now.
"Please, just leave me alone",I begged.He shook his head looking down all over me.I needed to get away.God, I needed Jerico.I was so going to throw up if Aaron kept looking at me like that.Jerico hadnt told me why his cousin was dangerous or what he was.But just being in the same room as the guy made me sob and run.I couldnt understand why he kept coming.
"Not now, Phair".I flinched as he said my name."Get away from me!",I cried.He stepped forward again."Your coming with me".He leaned down and scooped me up. My first instinct was to scream.But Aaron covered my mouth before I could open it up."Its okay, sweetheart",he patted my face rubbing my cheek with his thumb.I started to cry harder.He leaned closer rubbing his lips behind his thumb."You'll just be coming with me for a little while.I'll let you leave if you want to soon." he lifted his hand from my mouth replacing it with his lips.I pushed at his shoulders shoving on him.
