Here's Kale's story, seein' as how I already put up Trey's story (a few months ago xD)
The fires of hell burned wildly, the screams of lost souls filling the deep red caverns. The low ranking demons let out howls of satisfaction as they whipped human souls. Kalestrias watched, satisfied. Her form was that of a fox. Her color though was a light gray, more like a wolf. Her right eye glowed a brilliant red, while her left was a bleak black. She wore a pendant of rare jewels, whose names had long been lost with the flow of time, and the changes in language. She padded lightly. A high-ranking demon like herself was feared by many. She bathed in the glory of her rank. She looked as she felt a dark presence coming towards her, the soot black form reflecting off of the pendants. "What do you want, Kage?" She said. She spoke in an old language, only known to the tribe of Zi'ima, her clan. The demon, Kage, spoke back fluently in her language. "Miss Kale, it seems he," He referred to the devil, the way he said the word with praise, "would like us to go to the human world." Kale's eyes burned with curiosity. Kage and her were both the strongest fighters, but Kage had something she didn't. The ability to keep his form as a demon in the human world. Kalestrias nodded. "Alright." She said. They made their way to the human world gate, and stepped through.
Kale had taken on the appearance of her first kill. A girl around seventeen years of age. her hair was a long, blood red, her skin almost as white as chalk. Her right eye stayed the form of the red fox eye. A special accommodation. She wore the normal ANBU garb. A bag on her back was stuffed with clothes. She opened them and took out the normal Jounin setup, quickly getting into it. She looked to Kage, who now towered over her. In her human body, it was impossible to speak the tongue of her people, so she spoke human language. "Let us get this done with." She said, and they went forward.
The man trembled weakly at Kalestrias's feet. "P-please! I beg of you! Spare me!" He eyes narrowed, lifting her katana. "Toorat parasite..." She stabbed him through the heart. The field around her, covered in blood, was littered in bodies. Kage appeared from the shadows, a wide grin across his demon face. "Very good, Kalestrias. Soon we will have the four kingdoms and the surrounding territories...." She nodded. "Just as he wanted...." She walked forward, her katana dripping blood. "It is a good day, Kage...."
Hours passed by lazily as Kalestrias walked, Kage following slowly behind her. Kage laughed lightly. She looked to him. "What is it?" "Nothing, Kalestrias." She frowned.
Kalestrias lay in the throne room of Okani. Kage, who was suppose to have helped her Yuin's nephew, the boy Otara, stood in the throne room, standing over the dead body of his Uncle. His wide eyes shifted from Kalestrias's dying body, to the body of his dead Uncle. Her katana lay shattered next to her. The medical team rushed in, taking her to the hospital, and carrying away the young Otara.
It had happened so fast. Kalestrias had been a guard for Yuin for two weeks. Breaching all of the security was simple for her. The other guards had gone off to do some training, Kalestrias left behind with Yuin and Otara, who was destined to take over the village one day. It'd all gone wrong. Kage had burst through the wall, killing Yuin automatically. He was about to kill Otara, when Kalestrias stopped him. "You fool! This is not the plan!" She said, sticking her katana in front of her. Kage let out a loud laugh. "So you think, girly! What're you going to do, Kalestrias? You are weak in this human form!" She rushed forward, stabbing at him with her katana. No se. It shatted to dust. One of Kage's long appendages shot out, stabbing through Kalestrias. "Good bye, demon girl...." Were the last words she heard from him.
The room she now lay in was deep in the mountains. Seals lay around everywhere, keeping her from escaping. She huddled in the corner, knowing her time in there would be long. The grating of bars was heard from the entrance, including voices. She looked up. A man, with hair and eyes as black as soot, approached her. "Miss Kalestrias... may I call you Kale?" She nodded. He smiled and sat next to her. Odd human... She thought. "I have a proposition for you..." He began. She looked at him. "We are also after the demon Kage, and were hoping you'd join us. Of course, we'd need to change your identity a bit." She nodded. "It is fine with me..." She'd long cursed her demon self, wishing she'd been born a simple human. He stood up, offering her his hand. "Good. Now, we will shorten your name, that is why I asked if I could called you Kale..." Kale. A nice, human name. She thought. "Sure, Kale it is...."
Er, I guess that's where it ends .__. I think this about fits in to where Trey's story starts, eight years later. It's not the best I've made, but Kale is a bit of a..... tricky character....
