When it comes to my hair, I like to keep it pretty simple. I found a style I like and am happy to keep it that way. And while some might think blond is a boring, unadventurous color, it works for me. Besides, Epic likes the blond in me, so why mess with a good thing, right?

But every now and then I do like to change things up for a few hours. Not a permanent change, but something new and different; just to shake things up a little. So sometimes I pick up random hair accessories that give me the change I'm looking for.

So today, I got something called "Elemental Hair". It's a new and somewhat rare creation that turns your hair into locks of nature. It's amazingly fabulous. I love the windy and breezy looks, and even though I'm not a big fan of green stuff, I really liked the earthy green tresses too.

I put together a beautiful outfit that showed off the new shiny hair and headed out to show off my new look. I decided to go over the the jigsaw puzzle clubhouse and put work on some puzzles for awhile. As I was working on one, I noticed that I was getting a lot of looks from the people around me. Well, that's what I expected, right? But something felt wrong. Those people weren't looking at me with awe and envy; instead it felt more like confusion. I left my puzzle on the table and found a nearby mirror and took a look.

I was completely bald!!! eek Noooooooo!

I couldn't believe it! This was awful! I was so upset that I left my puzzle behind and ran out of the room screaming. How could this happen to me?

But as soon as I hit the air outside, I felt something on my cheek. I stopped and glanced in a window at my reflection. There was the shiny green tresses I had expected. That's weird.....

So back to the puzzle room I went. And away went my pretty new hair. I was so confused and frustrated. So, I took a walk over to the Salon to talk to Vanessa. I hoped maybe she would have an idea of what was going on. After all, her job is hair, right?

Vanessa did know what I was talking about. She said that when that magical elemental hair was created, there was a small flaw that caused it to dissolve away in certain rooms. And the crazy thing is that it's random; you can never predict when or where this would happen, it just would.

Strange. And very strange. But it's still beautiful hair and I'll enjoy it when I can. The strange things that happen here in Gaia.....
