WHEW. Teen Night again! I LOVE Teen Night! Wait, how many times have I really said that in these journal entries of mine? Bah, oh well... So this Teen Night was just like always- great, frantic with spontaneous, slaptastic spazzy moments of gleeful intent! I paint quite a beautiful picture, don't I?
It all started off with Art-san and I cracking into our Halloween festive goblets (adorned with ornamental spiders). These things are wicked looking! One of my favorite goblets, one I just got, is a fluted purple glass clasped by an upright skeleton hand (that's been set into the base of the cup for support). I also had brought a bag stuffed with tantalizing Reese brand goodies. Oooh, my mouth is still watering...! Yeah, I'm a junkie food addict. You'd never guess, but Reese candy (everything save for those "pieces" wink are like my crack. I can't get enough of them!
Emma got her mask! I remembered to bring it this time. I'm currently working on her Twilight Princess themed charm (hand sculpted and all), so hopefully I'll have that done by the next one (Halloween Teen Night! The one where I cosplay as Seras Victoria from the Anime Hellsing OVA series!). Emma's mask was created by Art-san, whereas I created Seraph's mask. Our different styles really show through, and it's beautiful!
Super Smash Brothers: Brawl. Now, I'm getting MUCH better. I'm feeling more comfortable with the botched up transgression poor Falco had from from Smash to Brawl. In fact... now I prefer Brawl Falco over it's predecessor. Interesting...! Anyway, I fought against Michael (lost, as always. He's a master at the game. I really love it when these four person duels come down to just me and him. One day, when I hone my skills enough, I want to do a face to face battle with just him). He uses Lucario. Also fought Art-san's brother and, holy crap, he's GOOD as Donkey Kong! I mean, at one point or another I was seriously trying to just hide from his merciless fury as he kept whamming my beak into the pavement with his punches.
A funny note, I finally fought against a girl who really wanted to fight me for the longest time. It turned out the two of us, and Art-san's brother (Danny), fought. I won! Wow, first time in a while. Rematch came, and I suggested we all use characters we've NEVER played before. The girl went from Link to Marth. Danny went from Donkey Kong to R.O.B. Me? Well... I AM a Metal Gear Solid fan, so I chose Snake with this weird outfit that looked like he was wearing cow camo.
Moo.
Anyway, I had no idea how to use Snake. It was really funny watching us go at it like total newbies. It was actually refreshing. Even the most hardcore gamers at ANY game needs to just step back and do something wacky and kooky to poke fun at themselves and/or the game. It's not fun without doing that every once in a while!
I won as Snake, safe to say. Danny was FANTASTIC with that robot. He kept blasting lasers in Snake's face- ESPECIALLY when I was crawling towards him to do an attack. THAT was rather funny.
"Imma firin' mah lazer" got a whole new term with Danny and R.O.B.
After wards... I cracked out a container. Now, what was in this said container? Well, over 115 COUNTED toys. These things are very small. What could these little cute, plastic toys be?
Yes. The apocalypse of Japanime DOOM befell Teen Night, and it was all because of ME.
And yes, these were +115 small pokemon figurines. There were only a handful duplicates (the most being 9 Pikachus, MOST with a different pose and date of creation). Plus, I had ALL the main trainers (you know the deal- Ash, Misty, Brock, Jessie and James). Yes. I'm this much of a nerd that I kept most of these.
Wait, nerd? Nah. I'm just having FUN! blaugh
Anyway, I gave Lynx (real name Brock; no, I am not frickin' kidding here) my Brock trainer and Golem. There was NO way I wasn't going to let Brock have those two figurines. I mean, it's too perfect! Brock got a Brock! lol!
To Michael, since I know he adores the following Pokemon, I had saved aside Eevee, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Arbok, Vulpix and Ninetails. I wanted him to have those especially.
Art-San got this one Pokemon. I can't spell it's name for the life of me! gonk Anyway, I know she liked it (based on earlier comments), so she got him for sure. Danny is going to (most likely) get Growlithe. I love that Pokemon but.... for him.... I think I can part with the little pup and let him have it.
Overall it was fun. A bit random, for SURE, but isn't every Teen Night random for me? I should think (and HOPE) so!
heart Peace out, ya'll! heart
P.S: I just noticed... A night filled with Snake and Pokemon? HOLY CRAP, OTACON! I think the Otaku just took over anything that makes sense in this world and has warped it into the wonderful world of Japan CRAZINESS.
