OK, here's what happened: Today at school during Graphics/Animation class (last period), my mom called the school and told them to relay a message to me. The message was this: "Call home before 3:30." So after I got started into my assignment, my teacher; Mr. Stuve, suggested I go call home. So I did. Here I was, expecting to to be something important. This is sort of how our conversation went: "Hello? Mom?" "Hello, yeah?" "Why'd you want me to call home?" "Well! I wanted to tell you that me and Brett will be at Faraday* after schoool so come there when you get out." "I'm assuming you want me to hurry?" "No. You don't have to hurry. We'll be at a park, so take your time. We're just gonna go get slurpees." "Oh. OK then." "Kay, bye." "Ok, bye mom."
And that was pretty much how the conversation went. She made me think it was kind of important; although to us "Winnipeggers", slurpees are pretty important. We hold the title ya know. Slurpee Capital baby!! Lol, but yeah. So when I went back to class, Sam asked what my wanted me to call for. So when I told her about the slurpee, almost everyone was saying stuff like:
"Your mom called the school to tell you you get a slurpee after school?" "I wish my mom would buy me slurpees like that. When I get home she just tells me to do the dishes, and pretty much ignores me unless I'm doing chores for her." "Wow, your mom must be real cool to call the school to tell you you get a slurpee after school." "You're so lucky! My mom never does that!"
Lol. There were others, but these ones seemed to stick in my head better.
*Faraday is an Elemtary school. My little brother goes there. Me and my other brothers went there as well. We don't go there anymore though cause we already graduated from elementary school.
