The ground was opening up, the hills were collapsing, the water was boiling, and the earth was shaking with so much force that every building known to man was falling apart. Everyone was huddling together outside, we held eachother and cried. Not knowing what was going on. This shouldn't be happening. The world shouldn't be ending. Were we too late, no. Louis ad the others weren't weak enough to expire so soon. No, this isn't right. This can't be happening.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The air is hard to breath, its been days and the earth has not gotten better. The sun has become hot and the last news we heard was that the earth was devouring everything and everyone whole. I cried every minute I could. Rachelle and Chiara, the girl Mark was with, would stay with me and pray. It was the only time we had prayed. We knew it was all we could do. I felt bad for everything I had done to Louis and everyone else in my past. I wanted Louis to hold me, I wanted to laugh again, under the willow tree. Thats where we were now, except it was not a piece of heaven anymore. It was just our soon to be tomb.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A bright light.
It emitted from our bodies and helped us breath. I was floating, I think.
"Cass..." I know that voice. "Cass...?" "Louis?" I whispered. All I could see was white, but I could smell the sea. A sea. Where was I?
I felt arms around me, I could see Louis, barely. I smiled and tears fell from my eyes. I had to be dead. I tried sitting up bu couldn't fully. As my eyes adjusted I could see that was in a beach house and that everything was of white and blues.
"Sorry it took so long, it took us awhile to figure out what was going on." Louis smiled at me and I looked at him with confusion.
"Papa! Is Mama awake?" I looked and saw two three year old boys walk into the room. They looked so familiar. It. . . It couldn't be. . .
"The earth was the unstable one, not us. We saved a few and brought them to a new world. Hopefully they won't trash this one like they did the last one." Louis whispered into my ears, holding me around the waist while I looked at my two sons and tears slid down my cheeks.
If we had been better to the planet, we wouldn't have had to suffer and rely on Angels to save us. But thankfully, we have Angels to save us.
