Chapter 4, Secrets
Ame followed far behind 16 as they walked back to the house. She was a bit scared of him, but she didn't know why.
was it that he attacks fierce and forceful? Was it that he's scary when he fights?
The silence was broken as 16 asked, "you saw right?"
Ame was startled and caught off guard. "Tis true, dear 16,"
"i see," 16 walked a little slower as Ame caught up. "don't be scared, i'm still me."
Ame nodded. She knew that it was just that it seems like 16 is chalked full of secrets. Once you find one you end up finding another.
"i," Ame said.
"hey ame you said I instead of thou or thee or something else, you ok?"
Ame's speech was perfected from when she was born to now and it sort of turns off when she's scared, panicy, or anything she isn't.
"tis is not afraid, thou is just, skeptical of tis 16."
"how come?" 16 asked yawning.
"doubts, are tis downfall of thee," Ame answered.
"don't worry, i won't make you doubt me," 16 replied.
his inner voice said, i won't make you doubt me today, i will kill you eventually...
Ame nodded again. She just needed a good nights sleep.
that morning, 16's friend, Hamliton Oprah stormed into the house while 16's dad was out.
"16! 16! 16!" he shouted.
"what's wrong Hamilton?" 16 asked.
"Helena! She, she was..."
"what? what's wrong with Helena?"
"she was taunting some chick with red hair and she disappeared!"
16 and Ame both were shocked. Hamilton left to go tell Helena's mom she was alright.
Ame said, "tis Fire Ring."
"hmm?"
"tis Fire Ring tis a special race of thy humans tis specializes in assassinations, but..." Ame trailed off.
"but?"
"thou just is curious of why tis Helena was taken."
16 nodded. "we should search the area."
Ame nodded.
16's inner thoughts were coming out again, leave her,
but she's my friend!

16 shook his head. "something wrong dear 16?"
"uh, nothing, nothing Ame." Ame knew something was up.ah, yes lie to her, it will only hurt you more...
