He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close. "Don't let go." The wind swirled around them like a spinning tornado.
"I love you." She let go of him and disappeared. "Always."
He fell to his knees as the wind calmed down. He placed his face in his hands and called out her name. "Olivia! Come back. Please, come back." He whispered the last part and spotted his pocket knife from the corner of his eye. "We'll be together, forever." He grabbed the knife and whispered these last words: "Love is the only thing keeping us alive." He stabbed himself and fell into total darkness.
