Game Preview: Alex Tanguay, ehen he still played in the west, was killing the Coyotes almost everytime he stepped on the ice. "He has a 10-game points streak versus Phoenix, finding the back of the net four times while adding nine assists to guide his team to an 8-1-1 record in those games." The last confrontation between these two teams ended 4-2 for Montreal. Shane Doan will face his cousin Carey Price, as well. Francis Bouillon and Chris Higgins are expected to be left out because of injuries. Also, we might have another Laraque fight. He might duel with Carcillo.
Final: Montreal defeats te Coyotes 4-1 in what looked like a slaughter many times. Bad turnovers led to some of the goals scored. Great night for Alex Tanguay! He was a Coyote killer back with Calgary and he's was definitvely one tonight. Saku Koivu looked awesome centering Latendresse and Tanguay. This might be hard for Higgins, when he'll come back. The game wasn't entirely in Montreal's favor though. Andrei Kostitsyn received one heck of a hit, he was laying on the ice, out of breath, by Kurt Sauer, If i recall correctly. Anyways, it was a very good game from Montreal, even though, Pheonix looked dead.
