6-4 Loss
Game Preview: Christopher Higgins will be back on the ice after missing all of the season's game so far! Mathieu Dandenault and Ryan O'Byrne will be looking the game from above. They are replaced by Higgins and Bouillon. Carey Price won't be starting this game because of a cold, so Halak gets the pipes in the beginning. The last meeting the Habs' had against the Anaheim Ducks, they lost 3-1.
Final: The Habs' first regulation loss (6-4) comes from a Western team and in a high-scoring game. Carey Price replaced Jaroslav Halak, but he didn't change much. The Ducks scored on him anyways. Chris Higgins got an assist and a +1 in his first game of the season which is pretty good after an injury. Montreal could and should have kept their 3-2 lead, after coming from a 2-0 deficit. I have to give credit to the Ducks though. It looked like the Canadiens were actually the one who played last night. Anaheim were the more energetic ones. Alex Tanguay, again, had another good night: 2 goals.
My three Stars: 1- Jean-Sebastien Giguere 2- Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf, Chris Kunitz. 3- Alex Tanguay
Scoresheet: Montreal: Alex Tanguay (2), Saku Koivu, Tom Kostopoulos. Anaheim: Kent Huskins, Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry, Chris Kunitz, Travis Moen, Teemu Selanne.
Next Game: Tuesday, October 28th, VS. Hurricanes
