Like his father, Katsuo isn't one to show much emotion, especially to those he isn't close to--which, in most cases, is everyone. He isn't use to getting close to people, since for most of his life he was either alone or with his father, who wasn't much of a talker either.
[ • ] Biography
Son of Itachi Uchiha and Yoko Kimura. Katsuo didn't yet meet his father and was with his mother for the first seven years of his life. Unfortunately, she was killed during a mission with ANBU, who claim she demanded they let her take care of it alone. Though they never told him what that mission was that had killed her.
His life lived for no one now, Katsuo left the village to go off on his own at age 14. Only Months after traveling alone, he discovered his father; or more accurately, his father discovered him and, actually, was looking for him. For a long while, he lived with Itachi and the Akatsuki. He came of use to them a few times, but he refused to become a member of the same organization his father was in; the man who'd left before he was even born. Through the years, he came to actually respect his father, though he still didn't join Akatsuki, now for a new reason; he felt he was better off without any team mates. Now, he's 17 and he left the Akatsuki to travel once again on his own. He plans to return to the leaf village to start a new life. Being his father, Itachi didn't disapprove; but he also didn't explain the fact that some day Itachi plans to destroy that village--and everyone in it.

~Name: Sharingan (Copy Wheel Eye)
+Description: A pupil born technique, which allows the user to do to a large number of things. The Sharingan's first and most well known ability - is to memorize any technique that it is a witness to - as well as register the movements of opponents. Second, it is able to hypnotize the opponent, giving an advantage to the user. It can also suggest movements to the hypnotized brain, and 'see through' any illusionary techniques. Although it is a power jutsu, it absorbs chakra. The power of the Sharingan is judged through the amount of dots in the persons eye.
~Name: Mangekyo Sharingan (Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye)
+Description: a heightened form of Sharingan which was once thought have been attainable only by members of the Uchiha clan, and even those who have the potential to obtain it must make a great sacrifice in order to obtain it -- according to Itachi, they must kill their best friend. Using this type of Sharingan he can create a mysterious and very powerful black fire, like the one Itachi used to escape from Jiraiya's inner frog mouth barrier. It also allows the use of an illusion technique; he looks into his opponent's eyes and cast a Genjutsu spell on them. This allows Katsuo to have full control over space and time and can place his opponent to be in any world for as long as he wants. The technique itself only lasts a short while in reality, however, to the opponent it feels like an eternity. Though in the real world the injuries are not real, the pain they feel in the fake world is. Only holders of the sharingan can overcome this technique, but that doesn't mean it doesn't leave them worn out at all. As for non-sharingan wielders, the technique usually will knock them unconscious, and sometimes even leave them unconscious for a period of time (couple days at least)

+Description: Part of the Kimura bloodline; controlling elements: earth, water, fire, and air--the amount of chakra used determines how many of the four elements the user controls at a time. The more elements controlled, the more chakra it takes out of the user.
~Name: Kanashibari no Jutsu (Body Freeze technique)
+Description: Causes an opponent to loose their sense of movement. Stops the opponent, leaving an opening for more powerful jutsu to be performed. It is assumed most Anbu know this technique.
~Name: Kokuangyo no Jutsu (Bringer of Darkness)
+Description: Creates an illusion of complete darkness over the battlefield. Causes confusion.
~Name: Kuchiyose no Jutsu (summoning technique) [birds]
+Description: Summoning of birds; any kind of bird ranging from large eagles to smaller yard birds (blue jays, humming birds, etc.) They can be used for battle, distraction, sending/receiving messages, or for any other use.
-----a hawk--or the spirit of a hawk-- half the size of Katsuo himself; it is summoned to enter Katsuo's body through his chest, giving him his own pair of wings and the power of flight. But this isn't a bird often summoned, for this power takes a great toll on the user; the bird not only eats up most of the user's remaining chakra causing him/her to weaken or lose consciousness after use, but it also causes great pain to the user's body as they have to fight for control over the spirit.

Katsuo wants revenge on the shinobi who killed his mother. But he doesn't know where they are or even if they're alive. Most importantly, he doesn't realize that the reason his mother wanted to do the mission alone was because she was in a battle against her own husband; Itachi Uchiha.
