101 Random Facts
1. My name is Bekka, but when I was little, everyone called me "Ebec".
2. I used to have this nifty recorder toy, like the one from Toy Story. My gramps came over one day, and tried to get me to sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" into it. I had such a bad case of "stage fright" that I puked.
3. My middle name is "Charlene". My father's name is "Charles". My brother's name is "Charles". My grandpa's name is "Charles". See a pattern here?
4. When I was a baby, my 'rents thought I was going to be a boy, so they had planned on naming me "George". I was also almost a "Megan".
5. I like writing long facts. (This is going to take forever, haha.)
6. I used to live in a place called "Stamping Ground" and I'd get so angry when my Grandpa Fields would call it "Stomping Ground" and say that rhinos used to live there.
7. My first best friend was a boy named Corey Gains. We used to pretend that we were in the game, Mortal Kombat. We would get so mad at each other, because both of us wanted to be Sonya Blade.
8. I ran away once; I was maybe five years old, and I was looking for my older sister. I ended up talking to this girl, and watching her brother and his friends play football in the rain.
9. I used to have this super awesome toy corvette. You know, those battery powered cars for kids that they can drive around. I almost took the head off Corey and myself by driving right underneath the trailer of a semi.
10. I miss those days. (Jeeze, I'm only on 10?!)
11. I moved in the middle of first grade. I don't remember anything about Bridgeport, (the elementary school I moved to,) at that time except eating graham crackers and watching Fat Albert.
12. I loved the playground there; they had these super awesome big trees with ginormous roots, and we would pretend like they were dungeons.
13. In second grade, we did a presentation on Austraila. I fell in love; I thought it was the coolest thing since Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers toys from Mickey D's.
14. I had the worst day of my life in second grade. There was this chick in our group who never helped clean up or anything, and it made me so angry. I went off on her, and the teacher, (Mrs. Alfero, I think,) made me put my head down. Well, I couldn't BREATHE when my head was down like that, so I turned to the side a little bit. She got angry at me for that, and told me I had to stay down for ten minutes, instead of five. I tried to tell her that I couldn't breathe, and she made me go sit in the "bad" chair for fifteen minutes. ...At least I could breathe, haha.
15. We had to color pictures of people with markers all the time, and it was so frustrating, because there were never any skin toned colors. They'd give us blue, red, yellow, etc, and we'd all be like, "What the heck? Why do you give us impossible tasks?"
16. Our class and Mrs. Thomas's class would switch all the time, for artsy stuff. In Mrs. T's class, (she called herself Viola Swamp haha,) she taught us how to use pastels and such. I drew the best freakin pumpkin you've EVER seen.
17. I loved my third grade teacher, Mrs. Snook. She was pretty much the best thing to walk the earth since dinosaurs.
18. We learned sign language in that class, (that alphabet anyway,) and all I can remember is that Mrs. Snook's first name was "Heather". Haha.
19. Back then, what I wanted to be changed on a day-to-day basis. I remember wanting to be an archeologist, a marine biologist, a zoologist, a pilot, a paleontologist, and a movie director among other things.
20. That school bred my love for white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. Mmm.
21. Fourth grade, my teacher was Ms. Martin. (I think.) I remember doing this volcano experiment with playdough. Baha, it made me so angry because I KNEW what to do, and my group wouldn't listen to me. Jerks.
22. I won the only thing I've ever won in my life in fourth grade. Ms. Martin had two scholarships to 4H camp that she could give to ANY student. She picked a girl named Krissy or Kristy or something, and the other one to me. That was THE best day of my life, haha.
23. I met my best friend ever at 4H camp.
24. Fifth grade, I had a teacher named Mrs. Hackney. I hated her. 'Nuff said.
25. Fact: I'm tired of writing about old facts. Recent facts now. One of my favorite lyrics EVER, goes like, "The tall blonde let out a cry of despair. Says, 'Would've cut it myself if I knew men could climb hair. I have to find a new tower somewhere, stay away from the window.'"
26. I sunburn in the oddest ways.
27. I fall for people very easily, if I let myself.
28. My eyes change colors! From slate grey, to blue-grey, to VERY blue, to stormy ocean blue, to light blue, to blue-green. Haha, you get the picture.
29. I get very angry, very easily.
30. I've been called a "bi-etc" before, but I just speak my mind.
31. I love to watch cartoons.
32. I have three nieces. I would do anything for all three of them.
33. They call me "Becky".
34. They are the only people in the entire world allowed to do that.

Before, I got up to 80-something of these things, and my internet crashed and erased them.
It happens.

I just started redoing them.

35. I have a lot of siblings. I have a half-sister, two half-brothers, and a whole sister.
36. I also have an ex-step-brother and an ex-step-sister, but they might as well be actual siblings.
37. I love zucchini bread.
38. I spent one whole week listening to nothing but country and rap. ...And I LIKED it.
39. In the summer between 6th and 7th grade, my friend and I went to the pool. For some reason, we decided to walk home instead of waiting for my mom. Problem: I lived on the other side of town. Hahaha, we almost died. My mom was so mad.
40. I'm a video game nerd of the worst kind; I love playing RPG's and zombie games. biggrin BRING ON THAM ZAWMBEEZ!
41. I have a nephew named JJ. He makes me think of turkeys and jet planes. Wrong him, and you die. :]
42. The word I have the worst time spelling isn't a word at all, but a nickname my friend Miles gave to me. "Rebelemeccala". I used to always get it wrong, and I still have to spell it slowly haha.
43. My little sister and I do this thing where we sing a song in "dubs". Like "Dub dub dub dub." And, we can only do it one or two 'dubs' at a time. We also jump up and down when we do it. It's hilarious.
44. I feel most at home in a library. I could stay in one for years, and never be bored once.
45. I most ticklish on my hips.
46. I once read this book about these insects that were human-sized, and blended in with humans. The bad ones, the wasps, took human spouses and laid their eggs in them. Then the eggs hatched and ate the human from the inside out, and burst out of their bodies. I had nightmares for three months, and my mom wouldn't let me read R.L. Stine for quite a while.
47. Sometimes, when I'm bored, I design clothes. I have a big stack of papers with designson them.
48. The biggest inside joke between my little sister and I is, "They're poppin' out of the snow... LIKE DAISIES!"
49. I'm not big into magazines, but there are three that I will read ANY time. Nylon magazine, AP magazine, and Bazaar magazine. I luff them biggrin
50. I hate playing Monopoly.
51. I don't watch TV; we have like 3+ TVs in our house, but no television. And that suits us just fine. :]
52. I do miss watching Fuse, though.
53. I love to swim at night; it's the best time to go swimming.
54. My bestest of best friends have always been guys. Girls are too petty.
55. I REALLY like techno; it makes me want to dance. Only problem, I can't dance. Haha.
56. I've always wanted to be able to tango; it's the best.
57. I love roller coasters, because they give the illusion of danger without ever really putting you into danger.
58. I get addicted to people sometimes.
59. In 5th grade, my friend and I would carve faces into apples at lunch.
60. I love being creative, but only when I have nothing else to do.
61. When I was little, I was obsessed with anything out of the ordinary, like ESP and ghosts. I read every book in my elementary school library about them.
62. My favorite animal used to be a blue-footed booby, until I realized what a booby actually was.
63. I was afraid of the dark so bad that I had to sleep with a lamp on. I only recently got over this fear.
64. I looooooove starbucks. My favorite drink is the Cinnamon Dolce.
65. Every time I go to the movies, I HAVE to say the "I love sunsets" scene with it. Then I read the little "please do not talk" caption out loud. Someone always says something about it.
66. I used to have this rag doll that was about the same size as I am now. I remember once, I put lipgloss on her, and it wasn't shiny like it was on me, it just made her look dirty. I loved that thing to death.
67. I'm VAIR anti-drugs.
68. I can't swallow pills; I'm afraid I'll choke on them.
69. My favorite book by Stephen King is The Shining.
70. I read my first Stephen King book in 5th grade; I loved it.
71. I love puns; Pierce Anthony is one of my very favorite authors because of this.
72. I've had plenty of days when I've done nothing but read from sun up 'till sun down.
73. I love to swing on swingsets. When I go to the park, it's the first thing I do.
74. When I go to the drive-in, it's never for the movies. It's for the people, the surroundings, the "I'm-at-the-drive-in" feeling.
75. My wrists itch a lot.
76. I have a ginormous pair of headphones; I luff them. :]
77. I've been kayaking in an harbor before. There were tons of sea dollars.
78. I have a pair of shirts that I've had since 7th grade; they still fit, but they have a billion holes. I luff them too.
79. I don't remember typing that last fact, haha.
80. I like to be outgoing and odd, but mostly I'm pretty shy. I stick to myself.
81. I rarely think before I say or do something; I'm just a spontaneous gal.
82. I love to get out and DO things. Unconventional things, like building cardboard castles or going sky diving.
83. I'm a slob; my room is the messiest one in the house.
84. I love to learn new things. Knowing things makes me feel good about myself.
85. I'm addicted to photoshop; not a picture goes onto my progile without being edited in SOME way.
86. I hate gnats. My mom has this plant, and somehow the gnats come from it. They fly up my nose at night.
87. I think that the armpit is a very intimate place; not sensual or sexual, but intimate. So are feet.
88. I love laughing, and making other people laugh. Laughter is like super glue for the soul; nothing brings people closer.
89. I'm a fairly independent person. I don't like needing people.
90. Urban cities are the life for me; I like the country, but I'm a city girl at heart.
91. Stars are my favorite shapes. I adore them.
92. I dislike starting these facts with the same words everytime; it's boring.
93. I don't like to be boring, haha. I like to be SHABANG.
94. I love mini-skirts; I have about 25 of them, but I never wear them.
95. The only girly trait that I really let myself give in to is the love for shoes. I have maybe 30 pairs.
96. All of my good feelings center in my chest; the bad ones go to my stomach, excepting anger. It's everywhere.
97. I have about 800-something pictures of just myself on this computer. I only like maybe 20 of them.
98. I want to travel; I'm so ready to be out of this podunk town that it's scary.
99. I sleep best after I get off of the phone with someone close to my heart.
100. I call my little sister Sheebs; it drives her nuts, but secretly she loves it.
101. FACT: I AM SO FREAKING GLAD TO BE DONE WITH THIS!
