Why would you believe those lies,
that are so far from the truth?
Is it because I can smell the alcohol on your breath,
and see your eyes far away.
You swing your arm and I feel my feet leave the ground,
the wall feels hard on my back.
You scream in rage and kick me fiercely,
but I can only hear my screams of pain,
and smell nothing but the blood covering my skin.
I feel every bone in my body shatter,
as you scream more questions I can not hear.
For I am sinking...falling into a pit... one were all the pain and fear you inspired leaves me.
But one question remains unanswered,
what did I do that would make you hurt me so,
make you want to hear my cries of pain,
want to murder me?
