Against all odds Cayrun and I had a rather large arguement over what would happen to one of our bad guys. She desperately wanted him to go good and help end the war, whereas I thought that he should die. The agreement? The purification spell his brother shot him with destroyed 9/10 of his entire evil essence. That small 1/10? Well Zeke never knew that at one point in time Dokan was truly in love with someone. That was enough to keep him alive. (Much to Zeke's and the rest of the Conclave's dismay, I might add.) The only reason Dokan didn't stay with his love is because his father was supposed to have had her murdered not long after. Luckily she lived. So instead of Dokan being the major bad guy in this book, his son (who will inherit the evil side of both Dokan and Dokan and Zeke's father,) will be the major bad guy in the next series. Oh man will he be evil or what??????
