This is a story written by me and plan to get it published but first let me share it with the world:
On one night, a little girl woke with such fright.
She heard a noise and look to her right.
Just as she feared, the closet door appeared to
be wide open and in her sight.
She yelped for help
"Mommy! Daddy! Come Quick!
There's a monster in my closet and has me in
his grip."
Her mother and father came just to proclaim
"There's nothing there", her mother said with
a stern stare, as her father stepped in without
caution or care.
"You see nothing there. It's all in your head.
Go back to bed", her father said.
"He's there! He's There! I saw him. I swear!"
She looked around when her frown came down
"I saw him...I swear...somewhere."
Her parents weren't pleased. In fact became
very mean.
"Listen now! It's late. Go back to bed.
There's nothing in that closet! It's all
in your head."
They bid her good night slammed the door
and were out of sight.
All alone in her darken room she began to
cry when what she feared came true.
Her parents were right the closet was bare.
The monster was beside her under the covers scared.
With wonder she stared and asked,
"What are you doing there?"
It spoke in an eerie weary tone,
"I am for your eyes. To be seen.
To be known.
Your caretakers are cold even colder than me.
I wonder how delight they can be?"
The little girl was quiet not knowing what to say
when the monster disappeared and she finally
said "hey!"
She jumped out of bed
and opened her door
the house was too quiet
to ignore.
As she creeped in the hallway
through the kitchen up the stairs
She began to realize her parent were
not there.
Filling with despair she searched even further
every room,ever corner
Her eyes filled, up falling with ease
To her delight the monster had seen
watching her cry was not a good sight
"What has to be isn't always right.
Your parents screamed in such wondrous fright"
his grin grew bigger
"A fair catch indeed."
"You bring them back now!"
"What's in it for me?"
"Anything as long as their free"
She plead a good plea
The monster agreed
Back in her room, she woke with such sweat
a damp feeling of regret
she walked through the hallway
in the kitchen
guess who's there
mommy and daddy cooking together
with much care
Her parents turned to see their
precious daughter standing there
Her clothes were ripped dipping wet
"I see goodie boogie had a lot of fun"
"I bet" the little girl said in an eerie weary tone
"i bet" and a grin was shown.
well i love the ending, i know it still might need touch ups here and there
