I went back to the island that Aoi lived on. I guess I kinda missed her..... OK, it was for my own selfish reasons. Lately, I've been starting to lose control of my werewolf self, and I don't want to kill any innocent people. I didn't really want to show her, but I had no choice. But the minute I put on the brakes when I arrived, she ran right in front and locked lips with me! That girl's crazy, I tell ya!
When this happened, I felt something leave me and transfer into her. I sure hope it wasn't my power to breathe underwater. I need that if I'm gonna go after the witch again.
She seemed pretty worried when I revealed my werewolf form to her. Luckily, since I still had enough control, I managed to help her adjust to this sight. Then, she told me of an item that could suppress darkness from consuming someone, and that's just what I needed to regain complete control, and maybe stop the transformations.
I had to get on all fours and dash to an old stone building, with Aoi riding on my back. She wasn't exactly built for exploring the jungle, or moving around quickly. When we came to the place, we saw a few faces that I didn't exactly 'care' for. It was Taiga, that psycho I had save Sparkle from, and the witch that made me like this. She somehow found a way to get legs and get through the jungle.
Another good thing about being a werewolf: Excellent hearing.
I listened in on them. Apparently, Taiga's going to reinforce her lair with a bunch of hi-tech traps and defense systems. I tried to get closer, but stepped on and broke a twig, and gave us away. So much for the more detailed info I needed.
Things got wild as Taiga called out for a huge beast, about twice my size. I told Aoi to get somewhere safe while I dealt with them. Just as I go to claw at the thing, my aura solidified into a long whip. With it, I latched onto the beast's neck and swung like George of the Jungle onto its back, where I grab its head and slammed the thing onto its back. Okay, I knew I was strong, but not like this.
As the battle raged on, Aoi grabbed the Aura Whip just as I swung it backwards. Then, she goes and whirls it around, and me with it. At first, I thought, "Has she gone off the deep end?" Then I realize that some of my power and strategical prowess was transferred into her and knew what she was doing. She swings, and I use the claws on my feet to take down the beast. With one last whip, Aoi let go and I fly at it, going into a Spin Slash and felling the beast.
Once inside, she hops off my back and grabs a white orb. When I touched it, I felt a lot of dark energy leave my body and get trapped in the orb. It felt nice to not have so much dark power build up inside me.
It was dawn when we arrived back in the village. Aoi didn't want me to leave, and kept clinging to my shirt. I knew I'd need that orb to absorb more dark power, and I felt lonely.... sorta. Then, one of the elders says that I should let her travel with me. eek
I wanted to decline, but she gave the 'puppy eyes' look, the one thing I was extremely weak against. The instant I gave in, she jumps into my arms. Me, I didn't want to, but had to carry her as I ran across the ocean. Oh well. At least I won't be lonely during my travels. sweatdrop
