Fullmetal Alchemist Episode 50 --------------------------------------------------- "Even so... if I work hard, what will I gain? Would anyone be equally blessed for making an effort? By paying a price, would anyone receive equal happiness? I want to believe in the Law of Conservation. Reality is- Reality isn't like that. So if you call the theory for children, being childish is fine for me."
The FMA guild is just moving at too fast a pace... I kinda miss the small guild. Anyways... I'm going to use this to write my thoughts for later use biggrin .
OMFG... that was a weird episode. I was definitely not expecting the other side of the gate to be "our world"... in friggin WWI time. I mean the whole London, Zepplin attacks in ep 49 built some suspision about where the gate leads, but as a direct connection between their world and ours... sweatdrop . Thats... weird. So that would make the setting... in the past, but in another world?
Seeing how the show is pretty against religion... is this how the plan to explain heaven and hell? Well... not really heaven and hell, but where a soul goes after its death? So if one dies, they get transfered to the gate, and resituated in either our world or theirs?? Because... well... Ed got transfered to our world, took over some kid's body, died, and returned through the gate? gonk so Confused... and... iono that would make the gate almost like purgatory. Then again... our side seems more like hell, because the other side takes energy from our deaths in place of the missing elements of Equivalent Trade.
Then... that brings me to the homunculus. Okay... so if the gate works both ways, meaning all deaths from both realms need to pass through the gate, not only our world, that would mean that the homunculus' souls are either in the gate, or on the other side, but after their death, their physical bodies were reconstructed by stupid humans surprised ... so if they died... would they be reunited with their souls in the gate? seeing how the gate can take physical, not just spiritual objects, such as al's body and ed's arm and leg. Then again... the reconstructed bodies could have no relation to their original bodies... meaning body and soul is still united in or on the other side of the gate gonk so yea.
And envy's real form???? whoa... I guess everyone expected him to be hoenhiem's son, but I was doubting him being Dante's son as well... but I guess he is eek . Ahh... iono... I guess its just his real image and voice that threw me off me xp .
I'm also wondering about the validity of the Fuhrer's child being human... it just seems so wrong sweatdrop
Blah... I think I'm just examining too much whee
