Flaws

A Fallen Angel
A sight to see
A tainted soul
Appeals to me

Rise up I say
On blackened wing
A broken chorus
To me sing

I see your feathers
Darkened with time
Your broken Halo
Ominous sign

I Hear hear your voice
Cracked with age
Read your emotions
You keep caged

I catch your scent
It's alluring to me
Like thick winter roses
wild and free


Your eyes you say
Hold no light
Dark and dull
Show only fright

But I look deeper
Into your eyes
I see the truth
You speak only lies

Your face you say
Is a Fallen grace
A former shell
A lonely place

Yet I see different
Looking at you
A see true beauty
only an Angel could do

Your heart you say
Can hold no love
Since you fell
From up above

Yet I see the way
you look to me
Feel the warmth
No one can see

Your body you say
Is unpleasing
I however
find you pleasing

Your tears you say
You bleed in black
A symbol of
The soul you lack

But I have yet
To see you cry
In all the time
that has gone by

All these things
You call flaws
I love them
I love them all

These things you say
Are but scars
But flaws make you
Who you are

You say you love me
But you Shouldn't
I could give up
But I wouldn't

You say your broken
With your heart
That you'd only
Tear me apart


But all these things
you tend to say
Make me love you
Anyway

Because I love
Who you are
Not the girl
That fell to far
