Valkyrie is based on true events. The movie is about 2 hours long, so grab a snack.
During Hitler's rule in Germany and his attacks on the world, the German people made attempts to assassinate him. According to this movie, 12 attempts were made. Valkyrie is about one of those attempts.
Not too much else to say about it, without spoilers.
If you like movies about war, history, secret groups trying to over throw government or Tom Cruise (main character in this movie), I recommend this one.
Warning: This movie contains some blood (very little), Hitler (not the real Hitler) and Nazis. Their is also some swearing, but was only once, from what I recall.
