I look at your face and wonder what you may think. You eyes almost cast a shade that makes you seem like you want to hide. I look at you with the falling leaves almost like you are from my dream. You shun those out and let me in. My fire grows for you like no one can. You seem afraid to even show some affection towards my way. Makes me almost think you want to say good bye. I reach out the best I can but always seem to fall short as you get farther away. The once fall leaves slowly turn to a bitter cold as I pray it would turn to rain. Washing away your existence would almost seem easier in the rain. But in the cold, your imagine is forever burned into my soul. Always haunting me, almost hurting me, almost wishing the ice would melt so I might be free of you. But I don't want your memory to be erased. I always want you here to make it feel like summer all the time. To make me smile and laugh again. To make those butterflies free to fly towards the sun.
