To Those Who know
Well I told my parents that I'm gay. It didn't go all that well, but it was better then what I thought it would be. I went over there with my friend to at least support me. I could tell right away they were still mad at me for moving out. They aren't all that forgetful or forgiven. So what happened you ask? Well, I told them I had something to tell them. I bet they were thinking that I wanted to move in and have them forgive me or something just told me with the look on their face. I took a deep breath and stood my ground and said. "Mom. Dad. No matter what you think of me, I have to tell you this. First of all, I am madly in love someone." But before I could finish they had a somewhat happy look on their face. "That's great son! Whose the lucky girl?" My father asked. I couldn't help but look down a little and cleared my throat from my cold I have been getting. I took another gulp and glanced at my friend who nodded that they would help me. "Well, the thing is. I'm in love with someone named Danny. And well, I'm gay." The look on their faces changed big time. They looked disappointed, angry, and shocked. The next thing I knew I hit the ground from my dad punching me really hard and my cheek was throbbing. I could barely open my right eye from the pain. Then I felt some water splashed on me to see my mom splashing me with her little bottle of holy water. "Burn! Burn in hell forever with your gay lover!" Is what she was yelling before she knelt down and slapped my cheek that my father punched so it stung even more. My friend had to push them off of me and help me up. They even said that I was no longer a part of their family and to never call or see them again. They also told me I was going to be taken out of their will. But at least I don't have to hide being myself anymore. I was afraid that they would do a whole lot more.
