I know, I know - two entries in one day? =O But, I'm bored, waiting for my parents to get home with the pizza they went in to town to get (yes, you read correctly: They had to go pick it up, because my town is so pitiful, they won't deliver.) since I'm starving right now. I shouldn't be, I had a late lunch just a few hours ago, but I always eat more when I'm on my break because I'm at home surrounded by tempting food 3nodding
Though ah, it's a good thing I'm not on break very often.
So I was playing Final Fantasy IX earlier, and man, I love that game. I love all the Final Fantasy games I've played, they're just so epic. They have these great, in-depth storylines that just pull you into the game and I love it because the fighting system is more strategic, as opposed to smashing on the keys trying to win a battle. I think a lot of people would prefer the more strategic approach, I mean I like regular fighting games but this is definitely a lot easier on my fingers wink Which means I can continue playing for even longer than I would for another game whee hehe.
Honestly, though, I think there are probably some Final Fantasy fans on here that would shoot me if they realized I have never played Final Fantasy VII. It's supposed to be epic, classic, the most popular of the series, yada yada, I hear it all the time from my friend Mike. And I know I should check it out, but I just... haven't. Final Fantasy VIII is definitely my favourite because it was the first game I played that I actually got right into, the first game that I didn't chicken out and get someone else to do the battles for me (because at that point, when I was ten, I wouldn't play fighting games since I was afraid of losing, as if somehow the character in the game dying would result in my own death. Lame, I know, but give me a break! I was ten.)
Plus, it really is in a league of its own, at least with the complexity of it.
I'm starting to get the hang of this site more, though I am for sure going to have to go on it at school sometime (or at a friends house if they have highspeed) to really appreciate the site as a whole. Having slow dial-up, really sucks. And sadly, I can't upgrade at all. And by the time this area would have highspeed available, I'll likely be in college or already living on my own, somewhere where highspeed WILL be available.
Oh well. At least my parents wouldn't be stuck with the screeching modem anymore.
