they keep causing both of my browsers, Firefox and Safari, to lag and even freeze up.

No, not the ads here at Gaia. I am referring to the ads in other sites that require higher performances of my computer to even load it up or play it. Utterly STUPID and unnecessary. This been happening in last few days and I been extremely frustrated by this premise to the point when I constantly spewing out hateful words at those ads evil

Unfortunately, this will become another annoying reminder that I have to either get a new OS or new computer altogether when I DON'T want to. They're expensive and this computer is barely 4 years old and I want to squeeze out one or two more years before I could consider getting an upgrade or replacement. Also, I have one more year left on my college schedule and I don't want us (my family) to waste even more money on thing that I don't need yet. Jeez.

Technologies are evolving too fast for me to deal with sweatdrop

EDIT: it seems like high-performance videoes (not Youtube) on some of sites are also causing my browser to lag and freeze up. SIGH...
