Min def singapore sent me a notification of national service regestration
it says :

1)under some act singapore citizens are required to join.
2) the time period i have to inform them on what im going to do (till the 23/12/05)
3)if ur a full time student u can apply for deferment (hasta be aproved tho)
4)if ur not a student u cannot be granted with a deferment
5) some thing about regestration and medical on the internet

1)Before i begin Ns regestration what details do i need to gather ?
A:parents particulars , siblings , name , place of birth ect
Education details - primary secondary ect
your records of cca activities ???
bank account information (facilate the creditation of ur ns allowance)

2) can i update the change in my name during ns regestration?
A:update name with immigration and the change will be sent to min def
concurrently
