“Oh my…” she trailed off, and mouth hung open for a quick moment. “Romare?”
Holding onto his head, the strangely-dressed boy looked at her, and said, “I beg your pardon? There is no Romare here, my lady, for I am Romaine, prince of the Steurleon Kingdom. May I request your name, fair maiden?”
Okay, he was definitely NOT Romare. “I… I’m Lauren… and if you’re not Romare… who are you?”
“Forgive me, but I just told you, Lady Lauren, I am prince Romaine-”
“No, no, I got that. But you’re not his brother, or cousin, or something?”
Romaine shook his head. “No, I have never heard of such a person. Is he close to you?”
Lauren’s face almost matched the fallen fall leaves below her feet. “No, no! He’s not!” she stopped for a second, “He’s not…”
A sly grin appeared on his handsome features, and began to step closer. He was happy to see this. At least girls still got flustered in this place… wherever this place was. “Oh? But you want him to be.”
“Shut up!” Lauren snapped, catching the prince off guard. Girls were not supposed to response so… fiercely. He kind of liked it. The strange girl then took his hand, and dragged from the place he woke up.
Once they were out of the forest, his eyes widened. “Where… where are we?”
“Romaine, if you don’t know where we are,” Lauren looked at him, “Then you must be in the wrong time period.”
Across the way, posted in huge bold letters was, “HOLLYWOOD.”

Lauren was a seventeen year old in love with Romare. And whenever she saw his face, her heart would flutter and her stomach would do flips in several directions. So what does a girl do when you’re wondering in the forest behind your home, and you find a weirdly dressed guy with the same face as the guy you love? Well, Lauren was stuck in that situation.
How can she hide Romaine, the prince to a strange kingdom sometime in the past, from the boy with the face, Romare, the boy who seems to ignore her every time she looks at him? But Romaine is determined to figure out this new world. No matter what she did, Romaine always found a way to sneak out of her home, and reek havoc because of his naivety to this world. And soon, Romaine fell in love with Lauren, and Lauren began questioning her feelings for the identical boys. When Lauren brought up the fact he had to go back, he was reluctant to go back to all the pressure of being a prince, to the lax, laid-back version of this world.
As much as she tried to hide the fact she was changing, she couldn’t. Romare did notice the girl who always seemed to catch his eye running away from him when she usually tried to stay near him. When he noticed she was hanging out with another guy, jealously over-flowed. Imagine his shock when he looked just like him.
After doing some deep family research, Romare found out something that would change Romaine’s mind of staying with Lauren: Romare was his descendant. He was a great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, grandfather. And Lauren was still in love with him. If he stayed there, Lauren would never be happy.
So he did go back, after willingly returning his heart to the past, where he met a young princess by the name of Laura…
