Hello aquarium weekly readers of all shapes sizes and whatever else there is do i have wonderful news or WHAT!!!! blaugh blaugh We've got a baby on our hands from Poseidon (no we did not know poseidon was a girl till i researched genders on the computer) sadly the baby has no siblings but its also been learned that its a boy No worries for he is almost to the size he wont get eaten and is hiding safely in tight spots all around the aquarium. Aquarium Tip: Now this tip goes to all kinds of aquariums (fresh, brackish, & saltwater) and any size aquarium is the terrible disease ICK. Yes its what hapened to my old aquarium but now we know how to prevent it and all my readers will too. To prevent ICK u must have a heater and u should have an aquarium thermometer. ICK has 2 causes 1. being too cold and 2. being stress. When a new fish gets put in it might even get stressed to a sudden change, if it acts more than what u have researched it on u should try to put it in a separate large bowl or such. and if u dont have a heater ur aquarium is also probably screwed and if u have both ur aquarium is screwed and if u begin to see mold and long fins falling apart u should immediatly get a heater or remove the overactive fish and then set the heater on a temperature of 88 to 92 degrees.
