The Long and Winding Toad.
Detention. Three weeks in a row. Plus, a months ban on Quidditch. All I did was plan a harmless little trick on the p***k of Argus Filch and his dumbass cat of his, Mrs. Norris. It didn't hurt them, so I don't know why they were making such a big deal out of it.

This morning started off as usual: Going down to the Great Hall, find some food, and head off for my first class. Filch got in my way, telling me how much of a nuisence I was, and, of course, I ignored him. After five years of dealing with that, it was normal.

He made me late for potions that gave me another detention this monday by the greasy-haired, abnormally big-nosed potions master, Professor Snape. It's bad enough I have to see him at least once a day... but twice? Yuck.

Once I left for Transfiguration (that I made my goal not to be late) I saw Filch again. His cat kept eyeing me with those blood red slits. I hate his cat. She's so annoying... plus she smells like old toilets (well, so does Filch).

After all my classes were finished, I figured I would do my nightly wanderings through the castle, while everyone was at dinner. That didn't go too well with Filch because he ended up following me all the way down the hallway, so I had no choice of going to dinner.

Once everyone was leaving, I took a detour down that very hallway, where he still stood, and I kept walking, even passed him. That was when Filch kept following me, so I quickly turned and ran, trying to get a little bit ahead. I threw down the Portable Swamp that I recently recieved from Weasley's Wizard Wheezes (I owe them so much. 3nodding Love those guys.)... and guess what? That little troll fell in it!

Filch is dumb sometimes. He was covered in mud and junk, and all I could do is laugh silently. Obviously he found me, dragging me down to the dungeons. Apparently, he thinks I'm intimidated by Snape (Yeah right). All he could mutter to me was:

"It's just a pity they let the old punishments die out...hang you by your wrists from the ceiling for a few days, I've got the chains still in my office, keep 'em well oiled in case they're ever needed..."

Yeah, okay, Filch. Whatever you say. What a bore this school year will be.

Next thing I knew I was in Snape's office and all he could do was sneer when I came in. For some reason, I was expecting Tiki to be in there, but no cigar. He gave me this long speech about how much good I could be doing for the school, yet I plan on ruining it by playing pranks such as these. All I can say is that Filch deserved it, right? I mean, who seriously stalks a student without reason. Filch does, that little brat.

My first detention is with Snape, obviously, for five and a half hours... (this is counting the detention when I was late, obviously) and three weeks thereof. He told me I have to disembowel a barrel full of horned toads. How adorable. gonk
