Continue + DDR <3
So In terms of friends

I was mostly with the asians (lol, love you guys ^ ^), I still got along even with the Brand-name rich kids, and the smart students, and LoL, even the jerks. I was just well-rounded there and lots knew me. Sort of almost all. We were the first gen in our school, so at first everyone did know each other. I miss them =/ And my principal was AWESOME. Gotta love Bill. Made a game for the class he tought, Theory of Knowledge was the class. IB curriculum stuff. Basically a philosophy class. Game was called Kill Bill.
He liked it ^ ^
RPG Maker 2000 + Ruby Code is awesome. Gotta become fluent in Ruby code D:
I'm sure people who know me will understand why - C++ is still awesome though. Action Script 3 is okay. At least I understand and can manipulate AS3 now.

LoLoLoL xD I just recalled, one of the RPG Maker 2k games I made, I actually had Dart from LoD in it. I drew his sprite and all, making it look as professional as the default game sprites. Even better, I manipulated the code to make a Dragoon Spirit item. You find it in a chest, and is accessible from the Item menu screen. When used, on command, I programmed it to change his sprite into his Fire Dragoon warrior sprite. Made that sprite look real good too, so the art also matched the game. I forget what program I used to draw them. It was special for the RM2K software or something. Lets see...on command it also changed his stats I think, and it had little glowy effects like in the game whenever the change of sprite was made. That was some good fun. Made a good Sora sprite too.

All in all, tomorow - or rather later today, I plan on finally bringing up my DDR pad from that little hidden closet under the stairs that happens to be inside another closet by the front doorway. I will resume playing again, with my feet - not fingers /lol
I hope to bring my stamina back up by some significance, as well as tone my leg muscles like they used to be back when. Then maybe I wont complain so much when Rusty makes me walk a lot o 3o
What I would like to do next is get Rusty to play DDR domestically with me. Arcade is fun, but not the best for my wallet. *Do plan on buying a machine when I'm stable and have my own place*
But a partner would be nice. He spoke to me about playing with me some months ago. Anything to make me exercise more xD I didn't want to at the apartments though. I felt so uncomfortable there. Oh well. More fun at home.

He's really not bad at the game. Played him a few good times at Sunset Station's arcade. He can read the arrows well. Just needs training in Stamina. He the worst when it comes to leg exercises. At the most, I should be able to teach him the "right" maneuvers for specific arrow patterns - though of course, I'm open minded in the game unlike some people
[It Makes Me Laugh - how the "hardcore" kids say that you gotta play it "this way" to do better, though I've seen some kids maneuver the hard and "incorrect" way and still do plenty fine in even the hardest songs.]
Then again, I never use the bar or hold onto anything, so I do personally like using the correct maneuvers. Maybe "intended maneuvers" is a better term. It's alright if he doesn't want to do it the right way, but at least he'll know how it goes.
All in all, I think it'd be cool if we could do couple dances together at the same level. Had sooo much fun back in my prime. It's nice to be able to play with someone. Just anyone at whatever level, though there's a certain joy when your partner, [be it a stranger or not] can match you. It's actually fricken fun when you find a random stranger who just happens to know how to play.
It goes like this:
You're up by the machine and waiting in line to play. You're alone and there just to play. Someone else wants to play too, so you're like, why the hell not? [Again, I'm not picky about someone being bad at the game, like some egotistical ddr-gamers are]. We take turns picking songs - it's a mutual understanding - so we comment on the songs we choose, like - it's a do-able song, not like the max 300 song series, or not as easy as Look to the Sky, or about the same level as Sakura, etc.
We go at it, and end up choosing the same difficulty level. Namely Heavy, or Challenge - all depending - maybe even just standard if it's a song like Max -
And at last, during gameplay, discover "this person's goood" -
Then the awesome happens that makes your day, y'know?
Kick it with a few more rounds till you're gasping and in need of Powerade
(which works wonderful when playing btw. Better than water. Though my personal favorite drink during DDR gameplay is Aloe Vera Savila with some ice, unless its already cold enough - water will make me sick quickly when I'm burning minerals. Gotta replace them, as well as the sugar.)
Good times. Ever since I got into it, I always thought it'd be cool if my (future?) boyfriend liked and could play DDR as good as, or better than me. At the very least "could play" it would be fine.

Maybe I should erase all my files and start fresh again. Though I was thinking of buying some new games - at the very least a 360 one to play with kitty. Whenever I buy a new DDR game, it motivates me for as long as I have songs to unlock. I'm sad though that the newer games have turned lame with their new more "Americanized" songs. I like the old DDR songs better. Even at least the Konami game songs, like Polovtsian Dances and Chorus (from the game OZ (Over Zenith, though it is a reference to the Wizard of Oz) , also known as Sword of Etheria which is the PAL version. Always wanted to play it - never had a moded PS2 or foreign one to play it on though. Game looks so good though. I'll probably get it when Rusty gets a Japanese PS2 for his Tales game. Song is incredible. It's an old song based of a russian play from long ago. The part it's played in is called Prince Igor.) Another good Konami song is Twinbee. Both of these you find in Extreme 2.
I feel like just buying the Super Nova series to play for the heck of it...I just want new songs now, really. Used to go at it for 3 hours + straight in heavy mode. I miss that a lot. I can still maneuver, but I lost the muscles and stamina. Gotta rebuild.
):< *determination*

It's late, so I'll prolly just leave this journal as is for now. Maybe edit it later.

Night world ! ...rather, morning?
>..> Maybe it's better if Russ doesn't read these, even though the manly moments of embarrassed cuteness would be awesome. D: Just as long as I can find a way to hide that time stamp > 3<
