I'm gonna fall forever, lost in space and air just to fall into the ocean where the best saliors can't fare
I could swim for a lifetime but never in the right direction to reach land on my last day just in time to see a broken reflection.
I froze in the winter seas just to thaw in the summer moon nibbled on by sea monsters, where does my Lighthouse loom?
I long to see the lonesome structure to have my body crash upon the surrounding rocks to feel the warmth of the glowing beacon I'll die happy on the stony outcrops.
There's a light as I tumble in the surf too early for dawn, and the sun has long set, can it be anything but an illusion? Could this be my Lighthouse's silhouette?
Closer and closer to this illusion I'm pushed why is the thunderous surf louder than I recollect? and the rocks, rocks? This, this is no illusion the light is my beacon, so warm and perfect.
I lay dying upon my Lighthouse's rocks back in the air, so the end must be near carried from the depths, I feel.... I feel warmth, I feel pain, but no fear.
The Lighthouse saved my life, rescued me from hell her beacon burns bright She caught me up in more than an ocean swell.
