Gorum Nighttail
Gorum (pronounced Go-Rum) Nighttail is the offspring of a troll woman and a heavily inebriated farm hand from Bill's Ranch. For most of his life he was Raised amongst his troll clan, leaving them once in his early teens in an attempt to find his father. Unfortunately the embarrassed farm hand rejected him and chased him off with his 'boom stick'. Following that unfortunate incident Gorum began to display a distinct hatred for humans and, oddly enough, cows. He also displayed quite an aptitude for magic and spent years training with his clan's shaman, eventually mastering many forms of mystical arts, particularly those in the conjuring and summoning areas, and the traditional medical training.
The gifted half troll's magical prowess attracted much attention from the other demi-humans that occupied the edges of Gaian society and he soon found himself often acting in as a shaman for non-trolls, using his mystic abilities to summon mystical creatures for various shady faction and individuals. Unfortunately, such a thing is frowned upon by his clan and he was eventually cast out from the clan.
Alone and adrift he set up shop in the high, barren peaks that mark Dead Man's Pass. There he still finds himself called upon by various gangs of vampires, nagas and militant centaurs, aiding and healing them, summoning creatures for their evil purposes and more.
In addition he's also attracted a small but loyal following among the troll population who feel marginalized by Gaian society. A small group lives in the mountains near him and they're growing by the day, partly thanks to his successful delivery of 4 troll babies. The group mostly survives by hunting and preying upon the cows at Bill's Ranch, a practice Gorum encourages.
