Memorable Battledome Fights
(Against SwordsmanChris) "Out of my way, everyone. He's mine."

I entered the arena and immediately recognized my foe; that foolish vampire who's always preaching about armor. I remembered him as one of my first opponents in the battledome. Something about him was very intriguing and set me aflame with desire. "Swordsman, you are most intriguing to me." I said, looking at him, not even bothering to contain my lust.

He looked at me with disgust. "This is a place for combat! Return to whence you came, succubus." his words didn't deter me, but rather intrigued me more. "If it is a place for combat, then perhaps we shall cross blades." Folding my wings in midair, I dropped to the ground and drew my Dark Excalibur. "So the witch can use a weapon," He looked at the wicked black blade and looked almost bored as he drew his elegant rapier.

"Indeed. You think that little pin can beat my Dark Excalibur? Stronger blades have shattered to it." He almost laughed. "You should know not to judge by appearance. The fanciest blade with 'Champion' inscribed on it could merely be a show piece, useless in combat, while the weakest looking blade could be near indestructible." I nodded, he had a point. "Clever and handsome. I'm smitten." He sighed, "Listen, succubus, spare me the banter, if you're going to fight me, let's fight now." I nodded and pointed my blade at him. If he wanted a fight, he would get one.

I had made the first move, lunging at him with my Dark Excalibur. The black blade was about to pierce the swordsmen, when he deftly parried the fierce blow with his slender rapier. Startled, I spread my wings and stumbled backward. "How?!" How could such a slender blade block an attack that I had used to fell many a foe? This time he made his move, thrusting his blade at my exposed midsection. I wasn't fast enough to parry. I now sported a deep wound; I would bleed to death if I didn't draw this fight to a close and stop the bleeding quickly.

Seeming to notice this, he looked me in the eyes. "Do you yield?" Startled, I looked at him. "Y-yes." He cleaned his rapier off and sheathed it before he began to leave the arena. As he walked away, I watched him, utterly fascinated by the man and his sense of honor. He was truly a noble swordsman; perhaps I should strive towards a goal like that.
