i know many facts about Disney in general (company, person, locations, premiers) but i was wondering... do you know these amazazing facts?...
i know i don't know all of them but when people around me tell me sumthin that is GOOD Disney related i usually know it arready X3
SOOOOOOO, on witda show!
-Walt Disney died of lung cancer, he started smoking at about 16 or 17
-Walt Disney Company(current) was originally Walt Disney Productions
-at one point Donald Duck was getting more fan interest than Mickey Mouse
-Mickey Mouse's original name was going to be Mortimer (iii-yuck)
-there are hidden Mickeys alomost everywhere in things Disney-related, you can even buy a book in Disneyland that tells you where they are in the park
-CalArts was funded by Walt Disney (i hope ta go there)
-Andreas Deja is the best living animator(my opinion), he works at Disney
and if you watch certain Disney movie credits, you'll see his name (it's real obvious in the Little Mermaid)
-Walt Disney changed his birthday so he could help out in WWI
-Walt Disney had 2 daughters, but 1 was adopted cause his wife cudn't have more kids
-The Princess and the Frog is the 1st Disney movie to use old-skool animation since 2004's Home on the Range
-The Jungle Book was the last movie that had Walt Disney's help
-the pixar lamp in the logo is name Luxo Jr
-Disney owns a lot... (an' i mean a lot!)
-movies up 'til 2013 are planned (now that's planning!)
-the guy who played Slinky from Toy Story died, Toy Story 3 used his frend as Slinky's voice
-Buzz Lightyear is from Taiwan (whoot!)
-Disney made training films for WW2
-the Walt Disney logo that you always see, it's actually the way Walt Disney did his signature (bet you thought it was just sum wierd letters)
-sumone wenta Disneyland... in Kingdom Hearts cosplay (it's on youtube)
-ya know that the Mighty Ducks were actually a team owned by Disney to compliment the movie
-Walt Disney had many unfinished plans when he died, and he continues to give us ideas thru those plans
-Walt Disney invented the multi-plane camera (an' other things that i can't 'member)
-Walt Disney also invented plussing which is when someone sings harmony(back-up) with thier own voice, it was used in Cinderella
- The voice actor of Aladdin actually wore a costume at Disney World for a tv show
-The Disney animations department was told to sell all the special desks used for hand-drawing, when The Princess and the Frog came around John Lasseter became worried... but one animator(don't 'member his name at the moment) actually hid enuff desk in storage to make the movie
- A113 is a reference to a classroom at CalArts(also A111)
- Steamboat Willie actually is NOT the 1st Mickey Mouse cartoon
- 1313 Harbor Blvd is the Disneyland address, flip the 13's and you get mice ears
- Mickey Mouse didn't talk until the Karnival Kid
- Lightning McQueen is named after Glenn McQueen, a Pixar animator(died 2002)
