Today I forgot why I was happy.
I looked up in the sky and found myself smiling.
But I didn't know why.
I didn't have a reason to feel so great.
Not a single reason to make me want the sunshine against my cheek.
Not a reason to spin and feel the wind.
But I did.
And when I realized I was doing it, I stopped.
I looked around at faces all distracted by other little things.
I felt a flood of color in my face.
And I realized I didn't want this fluttering feeling.
So all my butterflies flew away...
