((3 month jump since last journal post))
The clock struck midnight and Ten couldnt help but to look at the small digital clock with a heavy sigh. Her feet moved from being on top of the couch to resting on the floor as she sat up. Kakashi entered the living room of the small appartment with a small scroll in hand. He sat down on the couch beside Ten who was wearing a black yukata unlike Kakashi who wore a white one. "Whats that you got there?" She said while laying her book on the low coffee table. "An old scroll you left behind years ago. I found it when I went to your place to see if you really had left." He placed it in her hands and smiled, no longer wearing his mask or headband considering it was late and he was heading to bed soon. "Oh. My journal." She whispered while opening it. "You read it didnt you. Everything... About Shiro, the Hellsing crew." She asked as she looked over it. "I'm sorry Tenshi-san. I was hoping it could give me answers..." "Its okay Kaka-kun. I'm glad it was here to tell you what I couldnt say." They both leaned back on the couch, leaning on each other. They fell asleep like that, heads resting against each other. They looked like brother and sister resting peacefully. But a young man appeared at the doorstep and knocked softly, waking Ten from her sleep. She carefully laid Kakashi down on the couch before answering the door. Before her stood a young boy, at first she couldnt see who considering the sun was peeking over the mountains and blinding her for a moment. "Tenshi-sama." The boy said. His furred hood up and his small white and brown dog tucked in his jacket with its little head under the boys chin. "Kiba-kun." Ten said as she stepped out and closed the door behind her. "I'd invite you in but Kaka-kun's asleep on the couch." "Thats alright. Hokage-sama needs you and at least 3 other ninja's to go see whats causing commotion on the outer bounds between our land the land of stone. "Hai. Thank you Kiba-kun." She said before going back inside as the boy disappeared from sight. When she entered she found Kakashi standing there still in his sleeping clothes. "I'll get ready. We'll get some coffee on the way." He said while heading to his bedroom, his hands resting on the sash around his waist. "No Kaka-kun." Ten said with her head bowed. "Nani?(what)" "This time, you wont go. Not after what happened two months ago. I wont risk it again. Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura.... they need you to be here to train them... and others need you too. You're staying here." Ten said while walking past him, but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her back. "Yeah, that may be true but I dont plan on dying." "You almost got killed last time!" She yelled as she fought back tears, she hated yelling at him after he was so kind and doing everything he could to make her feel at home once again. "So. That was last time, this is a new fight." Tengoku nodded, as if giving up and Kakashi fell for it, letting go of her wrist. She turned around with the speed of light and knocked him out by hitting the back of his neck. She caught him as he fell and tried not to let the sob escape her lips. "Gomen Kaka-kun." She said as she picked him up and placed him in his room. She quickly got dressed and headed to the gate to meet Jiraiya-sama and Shikamaru-kun.
After a long journey to the borders they found Oroichimaru standing there with two of his guards. "Jiraiya, left one, shikamaru hold off the right one." Ten whispered as they all stepped into ready stances. "Hai." the two men said with a nod. And thus the battle began once more. For 3 months now Tengoku had been fighting with Oroichimaru and everytime she seemed to lose control and almost got caught by Oroichimaru. The sound of metal hitting metal rang in the forest as the birds flew from the trees. The animals retreated from the area of battle and blood soaked the ground. "Jiraiya, Shikamaru, Retreat. Thats an order." The two obeyed with a sad expression, considering they didnt want to leave her but they knew she had good reason for doing it. A large white spike came out of the ground and ran threw Tengoku's stomach. she was pinned and couldnt do a damn thing about it. 'kuso...' she muttered under her breath as Oroichmaru came running at her with a kunai in hand. He sliced her throat but it only healed. With fury in his eyes he dug the kunai into her lower left stomach just above her leg joint. She screamed in pure pain as he put another kunai in the same spot but on the other side of her stomach. "b*****d...." After she said that he drove a kunai throw her left hand and stuck it in a tree, her being stuck between two trees only helped Oroichimaru out with keeping her pinned. He repeated the same thing with difficulty with her other hand. The whole time he laughed at her even though he had serious injuries himself. "Vampires cant live if their heart is stabbed." He said with a mocking tone. "Kuso..." was all she said in response before he rammed her own katana threw her heart. Her aura pulsed as a blue light formed around her body and slowly began to fade. She yanked her hands from the tree, the kunai's still stuck in them. "Were going to hell together." She said as she grabbed him and hugged him, forcing the spike in her stomach to enter his but only half way unlike how it went threw her all the way. Blood spilled from her lips as Ten smirked at him. He stumbled back as her grip began to grow weak as her aura faded. His two servants appeared and took him away, leaving Tengoku to die alone. "A fitting ending for a beast like me." She whispered to herself as her eyes became dull. "Your not a beast." She heard a man say as someone moved to stand in front of her at great speed. She could feel their breath on her neck as they hugged her and pulled her off of the spike and picked her up. The person was breathing hard which proved they had been running for a while. She raised her hand as blood poured wildly from her wound. She cupped their blurry face as her vision faded. "Kaka-kun?" she whispered with a soft smile. "Just hold on. I'll get you to a doctor." She heard him say as a warm liquid dropped onto her cheek from above. Her thumb that rested under his eye was wet as well. "Dont cry..... Its fate." She said as she closed her eyes slowly. "Dont close her eyes. Stay with me." "It okay ..... anata..." was her last words as her hand fell away from his face and hung at her side lifelessly. "Tenshi-san!!!!" He yelled as he fell to his knees, holding her close and crying bitter tears of sadness. Jiraiya and Shikamaru stopped in their tracks when they noticed the scream and the fading of Tengoku's life force. "Tenshi-sama" they both said at the same time before heading back to were they had left Ten. They arrived quickly, within a moment. But what they saw broke their hearts into pieces. Kakashi sitting on the ground with the dead body of Ten in his arms. Tears came to their eyes at this sight, not just because a great Shinobi, nah, woman had died, but a strong man was on his knees begging for her to come back in a whispered voice.
