I was going through my closet the other day and found all my old Sega Genesis games and console. Sadly, I know my controllers pretty much all suck, so I can't really hook the system up and play.
Anyway, I was thinking that some of those games I'd love to see remade/ported to the Nintendo DS.
Truxton
Super Hylide
Phantasy Star 2 (their were 1-4 made for the GBA, but I want it for the DS)
Forgotten Worlds
Altered Beast
Columns
Shining in the Darkness
Mutant League Football
Mutant League Hockey
And a few others...
Luckily, a few old games have been ported to the DS. Sonic 1-3 + Sonic & Knuckles are all in one DS game, Sonic Classic Collection. That I expected though, due to it being the first 4 Sonic games, which were great games, back in the day of the Sega Genesis.
Hopefully we'll see some other old games come back to the newer systems. I just hope that game companies don't go nuts with redoing them, like they did with FF3 and FF4. Sure, they look nice, but they don't have that old school feel to them anymore.
