Cruciarius' Journal
Money money money...
I've been trying to sell a few things on craigslist. Finally found someone offering me $50 for some Yu-gi-oh cards I have (roommate got me into the game years ago, but only played 2-3 times). I was hoping for more, but I doubt I'll get a higher offer.

So...

I'm also part of these 2 sites that I do surveys on and get paid for (takes a year to get enough points for a decent reward). Right now, I can get two $15 Borders points, which is basically a giftcard. That's $30. Either I use that for books or anime or my brother's wife would give me $30 cash in exchange for the Borders points.

If I trade the Borders points for $30, that would give me $80. I'm thinking about what I should put that towards.

Things I'm considering:

• Skullcandy earbud headphones - While earbuds bother me, I hear nothing but good things about these. I also could use small headphones to go with my DS, instead of my big DJ-style headphones.

• New computer chair - My current chair has a padded seat, which is falling apart. The stuffing keeps coming out and gets everywhere. Annoying.

• External HD - Both my desktop and laptop computers are loaded with "crap" I can't get myself to part with. This results in very little HD space and lots of CD-Rs and DVD-Rs being burned.

• 2-3 DS games - Granted I just got 1 new game and another possibly soon, this could be an option.

Considering all the above, I'm leaning towards the external HD. I think it'll benefit me the most, considering it'll greatly cut down on my need for CD-Rs and DVD-Rs for a while, depending on the HD size. Saw a 1TB external on Amazon for around $90, so I could cancel that 2nd new DS game and get that instead, if I act fast enough on it...

Of course this all depends on if I get a higher than $50 offer on those cards or not. If I get a higher offer, I may be able to keep some of those Border points.
