Those Who Were Made
These are the beings who were made by 'father' for a specific purpose. Each has his or her own story, having been five, possibly the only ones, who lived on after their Owners deaths.
Lindir: Made to Sing
Lindir was one of the first of his race, crafted by the hand of 'Father' to be human in every respect, save his mental function, and certain attributes. He was made to be a singer for a very well to do client, to please the other with song. Fortunately, Lindir's master was a mage, and taught him many spell songs, things to counteract any magic that the pretty thing would come across. Counter-spells, complex spells, things that a creature like Lindir should not have been taught. When the mage died...Lindir lost the thing most dear to him...his voice. Where most of their kind fell in love with their owners, Lindir did not know the feeling, and so, it was not so much of a loss for him. He was found in his wanderings by Arniae, once a warrior, now a healer. The man gave Lindir his name, and the boy took on a purpose of his own....to help the man who saved him be free of the curse that bound him.
Broken by being Mute
Eurion: Made to Serve
Born not too long after Lindir, the only thing that he will remotely call close enough to him to be actual kin, Eurion was created by the man their race calls 'father' as a servant, made to serve any purpose he was given. The purpose he was given by his old Owner was to be a house maid. He cleaned, cooked, and when the man became old, he cared for him with gentle hands, and a kind voice. But for some reason, this one lived as well. It was rare that their species live long after the death of their owner, but for the handful that did, theirs was a half-life. They became almost like drifters, searching for a purpose, for someone to call them by a name, and become to them what was as necessary as oxygen. Eurion wandered into a world where a reclusive race, a group of Nagas, took him in, and gave him a name. His new purpose was to breed. He became pregnant by Malhara, and mentally took the other as his owner.

------------- (Female) Made to Craft
One of the second batch of the Made that Father crafted, this nameless female was created to craft. With small hands, and a medium build, the works that spawn from her hands are worked with almost mathematical precision, made to be beautiful by their simplicity and structure. She was almost a sort of an apprentice to an aging craftsman, one who needed the skilled hands. Despite his age, she fell for him, and when he died it broke her heart. Loosing her sense of hearing was almost a blessing, and she wanders aimlessly around the town in which he used to live.....Maybe she will find a name again before her end...
Broken by Deafness
--------------(Male) Made to Mend
Another of the second batch, he was created to be a mender. Anything broken could be fixed under his skilled hands. He also knew healing magic, things to bring the injured a little closer to health. Though he could never completely mend, he, and the Wytch with whom he'd fallen in love, and been created for, were proud of what they did. The two males lived happily, until the Made's lover was killed in Salem, Massachusetts. Watching the other burn at the stake, he felt his composition changing. He no longer felt anything. Pain, Pleasure, or anything else, save for the emotions. The empty emotions. Broken like some of his siblings, he wanders the forests of Salem, considered to be a ghost of the past in white...
Broken by Tactile Loss
--------------(Female) Made for Religion
Though she no longer has a name, she still remembers her story. Painful as it is, she was made to be shown to a religious sect. With pale skin, blond hair, blue eyes, and the wings of an angel, she was created to be a sign, controlled by the head of the Church, that God existed. Though she never questioned them, she was not treated kindly. Taller than her other siblings, at a good 6'0", the only thing the poor Made took solace in was her ability to fly. The blind sheep eventually found out she was of the Third batch of 'Father's Children' and she watched them murder the religious. Though she never wanted to be owned by them, owned she was, and she lost her power of flight with their death. Mind wiped of her past name, she walks, with wings of white, asking anyone who approaches her.... "Will you give me a name?"
