Haven't made a journal entry in a while, so figured I'd write one, for those who don't keep in touch much.
Well my desktop and laptop computer HDs are basically full. Have been for a long time, since... well, after I changed my profile. Finally got enough money to order a 1TB external HD, which should get here any day now. Once I gets here, I'll likely be writing more movie reviews and possibly even anime reviews. I even plan on changing my profile, again.
On the 4th of July, I went to my sister's, for a cookout. It wasn't too bad. Learned to play a game called boccie, which is something like horseshoes, but with balls. Instead of a pin, someone tosses a white ball a decent distance away. Then their are 2 teams, which with their own colored balls, which try to get their ball the closest to the white ball. Points are done similar to horseshoes. It was pretty fun.
Parents have been having money issues, trying to keep the house. My dad going into the hospital & rehab for a couple weeks, didn't exactly help, but not his fault. Anyway, due to that, my younger brother and his family are moving in... I'm not looking forward to that at all. I know they'll try to turn my mom and I into permanent babysitters, which is not happening. His wife can learn to care for their own kids. They have four now. She's gotta start some time.
I've been looking for a free TV. Something of decent size and works, so I can have a TV in my room. No way am I going to try to fight with my younger brother's wife over the TV. She watches food shows (horrible at cooking, by the way), sports and Fox News. All things I can't stand. Sure, they'll get a DVR, but I'm not staying up late for my shows. If they DVR my shows, that's fine. I'll just watch them during the day, while her kids are up and shouldn't be watching the content of the shows.
So... yeah... getting an external drive and planning to make my brother's wife hell, if she tries her crap here. That's what I've been up to.
