We walked into Deadman's Pass, and all of a sudden, the sun was just GONE. There was no light ANYWHERE, and everything was suddenly dead.
We turned around to look behind us; lush trees and the faint sounds of laughter drifted in. We looked forward again. The cracked cobblestone had black weeds, the trees were black and dying- if not already dead- and the fences were rotting with skulls on them.
"Well," Towhee said finally. "This is... sudden."
Arroh and I chuckled.
"Ok, warning Towhee," Arroh said before the bay centaur could step forward. "The monsters here are a little... Strange."

"HOLY s**t, WHAT THE ******** IS THAT?!"
Towhee jumped back to narrowly avoid the clamping jaws of the Animated Robot, the OMG.
"Pfft," I managed to say, trying not to laugh.
"OMG," Arroh said, smiling and coming to slice it to bits.
"Yeah, OMG is right, but what IS it?!" Towhee said, poking the remains with a hoof.
"It's CALLED an OMG," I said, laughing aloud now. Towhee shot us a look.
"Original," he muttered, and Arroh burst out laughing as well.
"Dude," I said, grinning, "it only gets better."

"Ok, does anyone want to tell me how this accomplishes ANYTHING?" Towhee said, standing with his arms crossed. A stick of lipstick hit him in the face; from my corner out of the way, i laughed harder as the Animated clutch bat thing started to throw compact mirrors at Towhee, who continued to glare at us as Arroh and I clutched at each other, laughing ourselves silly.
"It's... it's... it's a BUTCH!" i said, howling with laughter.
"it's a Clat!"
"A purt!"
"A bart!"
...
"Pfft." Towhee burst out laughing with us, before disposing of the annoying misfit Animated.

We stood on the courtyard of the mansion of Deadman's Pass, all looking at each other warily. Well, all except Arroh.
"You guys ready for this s**t?" Arroh asked, looking up at the menacing, wrought iron gates eagerly.
"Don't be such a sadist, Arroh," I drawled, and he shot me a look. Towhee rolled his eyes.
"So what do we do now?" He said uneasily. "Just... wait for the thing Ian told us about?"
We looked to Arroh, who scratched his chin thoughtfully.
"Amallia... Go up to the gate, see if you see anything suspicious. I'm going to check... over here."
I shrugged and approached the gate.
A ginormous spider fell in front of me and an electronic voice issuing from it shouted "ATTACK!"
Screaming, I jumped back- into a wave of nasty OMG robot Animated.
Whipping around, I slashed at the nearest three; they went down in a heartbeat, and when they were all dead, I looked accusingly at Arroh, who just laughed at me.
"You should have seen your face."
He was saved from a biting comment when the next attack came.
Towhee jumped in then and summoned a flock of hornets, and I jumped back to use my mightiest Buffs on me and my teammates.
"Amallia, over there!" I turned, and sure enough, this HUGE a** COLOSSAL BEASTIE stood over me. It stared hungrily at me.
"WHO DARES TO DISTURB MY TERRITORY?!" it roared in a mechanical voice. Arroh, cantering up to the thing at breakneck speed, whipped out three blades AND somehow managed to fire a machine gun at the thing- but just as he reached it, it smacked him with its tail.
All of a sudden, a purple light surrounded him and he turned tail and fled in the opposite direction.
Both Towhee and I stared.
"Uh.. Arroh?" I said, staring at him in confusion.
"I'M NOT FUKCING AFRAID!!!!" He roared. However, he still tried to run away as the OMGWTF approached him. "WHAT THE ********!!!! I WANT TO FIGHT IT! TURN AROUND!!!"
I started laughing, and Towhee- also grinning- hurriedly started emptying bullets into the beastie to attract its attention. It turned just as whatever the OMGWTF had done to Arroh wore off, and Arroh leaped into the air and severed the thing's head.
Both Towhee and I looked at him, before snorting with laughter.
"You were scared!" I howled, going down on one knee in laughter. Towhee laughed a little more gracefully; he gripped his sides, his tail lashing the air.
"BULLSHIT." Arroh snorted, pawing the ground angrily. "THAT. WAS BULLSHIT. I WAS NOT AFRAID. THAT... That was cheating!"
Our laughter echoed all the way down the Pass.
