“Don’t you see? That girl is blurring the lines of what you believe is real, and what is not! She is making you believe!” she screams. “Cody, the moment you let her into your mind, it’s over! How the hell could you let yourself get caught in her stare?”
“Her eyes… they were so warm,” he said blissfully, “So bright… what a lovely color.”
She stared at him, dumbfounded for a moment. Trickster had removed her mask in front of him? “What color were they?” she cried, grasping his shoulders, shaking slightly. “What color were her eyes, Cody?”
“A pretty shade of gold, like honey and the sun, and flowers, and of bees-”
Gold? That’s impoosible, they must be contacts. And it was well-known she had white hair, but that was obviously a wig.
The woman grasped her fists, and looked at her bumbling partner again. He was once a man of honor and respect. But now she was merely a fool, caught under this girl’s mysterious fatuation spell. Once it wore off in a few hours, he’d be back to normal, but his pride would not be - he always told her that he’d never let himself fall under Trickster’s pranks.
But a year of following her, she made him crumble before her.
She would have to get Trickster herself.
She stood to leave, but a hand pulled her down. “Nooo, don’t leave, Meredith! Stay,” a powerful tug sent her stumbling on top of him, “down.”
Suddenly, a spray of machine gun bullets, fired above them. There were people below them, standing and waiting outside the parking structure. If she had stayed standing, she’d be dead right now. Her large eyes stared unbelievingly at the parking lot’s window, and then at her partner, who was still acting like a fool. But even so, he still managed to save her…?
Meredith rolled off of him, and made her way to the window. There, she spotted gang members galore - they were scattered everywhere… but why? It couldn’t just be for the two of them, a pair of cops…
As the man beside her rolled around happily, the girl thanked him mentally. Even when he was under a spell, he still looked out for her.
And as quickly as she thought that, a flash of white caught her eye. She looked up, and looking directly at her was Trickster. The white-haired girl crouched down, staring at the two like a cat, her head tilting cutely. The three were in silence for a moment.
Her mind racked through her memories of the reports that had flooded her desk from the past year:
Extrememly long white hair that floated and shined on its own. Capable of many stalling ‘spells’. Not tall, nor very short - a teen or young adult possibly. Voice is somewhat obscure. Native language is questionable, speaks English and word is she can speak another. Nationality is questionable. Acts similarly to a cat, or a dog at times. Possibly not from the local area. Seems to abhor drugs.
And now to add the list, she thought to herself, as she was eyed by this girl/woman: bright, warm, and glowing yellow eyes. She’s actually very pretty.
Another gunshot narrowly missed the white-clad figure. Putting her eye-covering mask, she gave her one last look, and whispered softly, “Is he your precious?”
Meredith was tongue-tied at the sound of her voice. It wasn’t anything she had very heard before; it powerful, yet light and low. But before she lost the chance to answer, she replied unconsciously, “Yes.”
The white ends of her hair turned pureple for a moment, then blue at the tips. With a single flash of her eyes, Cody stopped rolling around and giggling. His eyes came into focus. He got up on his elbow, and said hazily, “Meredith…?”
“Cody!” she turned back to look at Trickster, but all she caught was a glimpse of white hair, then nothing.
Not caring about the gunmen below, Meredith got up to watch Trickster fall a good seventy feet to the ground. The white was still visible as Trickster approached the gang, and they did likewise.
The leader of the group, a young man wearing the colors of the Aoibi gang, met with her face to face.
A fight instantly broke out after they spoke for a few seconds.
She turned back to Cody, and helped him get up. “You okay?”
“Yeah, but I feel like someone just pulled me onto a moving bullet train,” Cody replied, “Was that Trickster?”
She nodded. “Yeah, she’s fighting off the gang members right now. You were under her spell, but she released you, I guess.”
Rubbing his blonde hair, he asked, “But why?”
“She asked if you were my precious,” she explained, “and I said…” She went red.
He raised a brow. “And you said…?”
“I said, y-”
“Officer Fields! Officer Green!” their captain came rushing onto their level from the stairs a few yards away.
“Captain,” the pair said at the same time, both tones a bit annoyed.
“Thank God Trickster made her appearance, finally,” the man said, his tone more angry than anything. “Are you both all right? When I heard that you two were still in here, I couldn’t believe it! Why didn’t you two leave when the signal came up?”
“Captain, please, don’t place any of the blame on Officer Green, she was only looking out for me. Trickster used one of her infatuation spells, and I was immobile for quite some time,” Cody said.
“Immmobile? Bullshit,” the Captain gave a suspicious look, “you look fine.”
“Well, Trickster undid the spell!” Meredith cried, “And don’t mess with me, Cody, I could’ve dragged you out. Captain Morris, I am also to blame.”

An excerpt from one of my stories I’m typing. >.<
It's basically about this girl named Kana, who is incredibly intelligent and lives a double life as Trickster. The story basically revolves around her living in a gang-infested area, how Trickster is trying to get rid of them while she lives as Kana, who goes to a rich kid's school. And in that rich school, she is classmates with two boys whose father is the leader of the biggest gang in the area, and with a girl whose father is mayor of the city, and also an ex-cop. It also revolves around these four, and their shared history together.
Eh, just something I fool around with.
