So in the past few months I've grown an interest towards the Takarazuka Revue.
As I'm getting more acquainted with them and the nature of the actresses and shows, I'm also realizing that, although getting information on them is easy enough, actually SEEING their performances is incredibly difficult.
I can't understand how there are people who aren't fluent in Japanese and who probably aren't willing to fork out $100+ for their DVDs and are still really knowledgeable about the Revue. I don't know if there's some crazy awesome source to watch a ton of their performances with subs, but I highly doubt it.
It makes me really upset because I'd really like to watch their full performances, but I'd still like to at least be able to grasp the plot as well. I've found a cool group on LJ who sell fansubbed Takarazuka DVDs for INCREDIBLY low prices, so maybe I'll buy a few soon. Mostly I'd like to see Elisabeth and Rose of Versailles, especially.
