My thoughts,my beliefs, my stories...
It's mainly going to be a bunch a short stories I made up recently.
Eyelids were screwed shut, almost painfully so as breath was halted, though the heart continued to beat as steady as ever, color tingeing the too pale skin. His face was tilted away, directed toward the people passing by the shops, striding past the purveyors in front of the shops or else distracted by the commodities displayed behind the glass fitted windows. It took a moment to regain his bearings and take charge of the unexpected rise in emotions- ones he had not at all been expecting. He could handle annoyance, despair, anger, petulance, cold blooded fury- he had prepared himself for such emotions, had built up walls, taken the defensive and designed preventive measures from them ever getting the better of him. What the shape shifter had forgotten were other, equally overbearing emotions like amusement and happiness. He found utter humor in what the seemingly passive vampire had said. His judgment and schooling of his features had been thrown for a metaphorical loop as he tried to regain his bearings. But in all reality, he was still fighting back the urge to let out a bark of laughter. Instead he merely allowed himself a quirk of the lips, eyes still shut, though in a much more passive manner as his face was tilted back toward the two lifeless creatures. He had wished that more people were as great a pleasure to talk to. Though he did remind himself that he would no longer be renowned for his so called silence, if he could enjoy such an experience more often than not. Still, best to take one’s prizes while they are laid out before him. He mused, the color in his face receding as control was gained.
