I actually survived it. I survived all three performances and didn't break down until the very end.
First night: It was good. We were just getting coordinated that night, sort of getting used to having an audience instead of doing the play for the empty auditorium. Pretty uneventful.
Second night: Flipping awesome. Makeup time was fun, we were hanging out. The play went great, and everything went right. Most of the cast went to the Double T diner afterwards, though I was too tired. So I came home and got online for a while, and it was great.
Third Night: We were feeling pretty great during makeup time and all. I brought a camera and took loads of pictures. The play itself went well too. The two or three small mishaps went completely unnoticed. Then came the acknowledgements and thanks to people who helped out. I got a little teary-eyed in the auditorium. I think hugging Greg was what really set me off. I cried for like, ten minutes. I wasn't the only one either. I'd recovered by the time we left to go to the cast party. If I hadn't, I would have definitely felt better when we got there. It was freaking awesome. We had some good times. I took loads of pictures there too. Some guys got cake shoved in their faces, which was hilarious. And Vicki and Claire and me were acting like crazy illicit lovers just for fun (and to be weird.) It was awesome.
All in all, some of the most fun I've ever had. I didn't want it to end.
Oh, and here's a few pictures from before and after the play:
And here's the whole album: Oklahoma!. ^^ (My read-only password is 'orange'.)
