Work:
Today was my first "real" day of work. By that, I mean I did go in on Monday. I had "training" to do. Which was just sit at a computer for ~2 hours watching videos. Half of which apparently don't matter, according to my boss. However, it wasn't for 2 hours. It was closer to 3 hours, due to their computers acting up. Slow, programs not running how they should, etc. Go Windows...
Anyway...
Got up at 4:45am. Got ready and had breakfast. By the time I was done, I had about 15 minutes to sit. I spent that time on Gaia. Doing my daily mule posts for gold (make about 1.7k a day with 2 journal entries and 1-2 pages of bumps). Left home around 5:30am. Got to work before 6am (when I start). Didn't have my employee number (required to punch in/out), so they just made note of when I started.
I planned on a 6-10 work hours. Around 9:30 I was asked if I mind staying until 12. Being unemployed for so long, more money sounds just perfect, so I said yes. That extra 2 hours seemed to fly by anyway.
When I got home, after removing my shoes and changing, I sat to relax. 6 hours of being on my feet constantly, isn't fun. My legs hurt like heck. Even now, 4 hours later, my ankles are still sore.
By the way, it's a stock position at Macy's, if you missed my last entry about the job. I sort deliveries by section of the store. Then open them section by section, putting them onto carts. Then putting the carts on the store floor, where someone else takes over from their.
I don't intend to write an entry after every day of work, but figured I'd let everyone know what I did on my first actual working day.
Profile Thought:
If you missed it, I think it was my last entry, I mentioned a profile idea. Didn't say what it was. Well... the idea I had was to add a new section. I was going to make a list of banners for my quest, friend quests and maybe shops that I liked. However, I've decided I didn't like that idea... or at least how it was coming out. Ended up scrapping the plan.
Graphic Shop:
I've been thinking of doing a graphic shop again. This will be my 3rd one since joining Gaia. I have a few items on my wishlist worth... well, a lot. I can't likely get them from just my daily mule activities and the occasional posts with this account (I don't care for forums), so I'll be opening a new shop. Today. Feel free to stop by and chat.
