So you know how I told you that instead of seeing a thin Greyhound I saw a lanky, eleven year old, platinum blonde haired boy, right? That's because in his previous life he had been an animal protecting a boy, and animals are unable to go to heaven. He doesn't need to eat, but he does so anyway, and he doesn't age, though I'm sure he could very well change that. However my friend (who's human no worries) decided to take me and Izzy to a horse ranch, he figured it was best for Izzy to see other animals, and best for me to get over my fear of them. Needless to say, Izzy was so excited, running around to the fences and trying to sniff them, trying to jump the fence, he frightened one or two horses.
But she took me inside, having been here before and introduced me to her friend, izzy staying beside me all the time, just sniffing at the air. Apparently she had planned this ahead of time, telling me she ordered the largest horse for me. Was she insane? I merely got suited up for this even until they brought me the horse. Or, I'm sure it was a horse, but it looked like a man with chocolate brown hair, muscles which were obvious but not bulky, his eyes were just as brown but his clothes were... lacking. And with the saddle and harness on him, well it seemed very much like an adult film waiting to happen, I was not pleased. "What is this?!" i exclaimed, pointing to the man. He looked to be into his thirties, little Izzy sniffing at his legs.
"Don't be mad, I said the tallest one and this is it. best to get over your fear quickly, right?" He was like six foot four inches! At this point i couldn't really comment, pointing to the mixed race, no doubt he had white in him, but also black. "he's so tall." "C'mon, let's get you up." "No, No I don't want to get on him." And I tried to cling to anything for support. Now let me tell you, it's really awkward to be sitting on a fully grown man who was standing, wearing a horse saddle and harness, and not falling off. Truth be told i was sitting on his shoulders even though the saddle was on his back, but it must've looked right to them because they didn't question it. They slowly led me and him out, izzy continuing to sniff. "Please don't drop me, Please don't drop me, please don't drop me." I whispered to the human, tightly clinging to the reigns. It must've bene pulling on the thing between his teeth because I soon heard the clicking of him tryign to adjust them and i loosened my grip, the lady taking us to the ring. I looked at Izzy for help but he was sniffing around in the grass, crawling around like the dog he was.
The 'removing of my fears' went horribly. He bucked me off quite a few times and would have trampled me had Izzy not gone and attacked. This did little for my fear of horses, but I stuck close to the opposite side of the fence, hugging Izzy for dear life while the others tried to tame the Horse (who i soon learned was named Calvin).
"It'll be fine.' izzy said softly, trying to soothe me. "He's just a meanie anyway. Horses are evil, if you don't like them they're evil." "You're a demon." "But I love you, so I'm not evil." And nuzzled my face happily, giving it a few licks (which is really weird, mind you). I could only chuckled, continuing to hug Izzy and the ladies led Calvin back over, telling me I should try feeding him some peppermints. I stared at the man before standing up, nervously taking a peppermint from the bag and offering it. Calvin looked down and sniffed it, but then turned his head away. "Here you go, Izzy." And offered it to the boy who took it into his mouth happily, chewing. This seemed to catch Calvin's attention, so I offered him another but he did the same, and the candy went to Izzy. I tried to offer a third, but Calvin resisted again and i stretched my arm to the boy, before he could bite, however, the man snapped his teeth at my hand, the candy dropping and izzy sniffing before Clavin shoved him out of the way. The handlers came in trying to stop it, but I grabbed izzy by the shirt and dragged him out of the way, and that made Calvin freeze. "You can see him." he said, staring at me suddenly. I could only stare back before nodding.
(( blarg, crap. I want my computer back. ))
