First journal entry -- woo~
I was going to write one last night but I was really blah and just didn't have any desire to talk, even to myself, since I doubt this will be read by anyone, lol.
I started reading one of the new books that my Mom got me for Christmas -- What the Night Knows by Dean Koontz. If you like horror novels I strongly suggest you read this. I couldn't put it down... all night. I stayed up until around 12pm or so reading and omgosh it's so scary... and I love it. I'm almost halfway through. >w<
The book has such funny parts in it too, despite being a horror novel. In one scene, Naomi and Minnie were dropping grapes into the mirror, because the mirror was swallowing them, and then they went to eat lunch, and Naomi asked Minnie for her pickle, and Minnie said, "You already ate one of my grapes, and the mirror ate two. No body gets my pickle." rofl I love that kid. She's hilarious.
Well, Christmas has come and gone and it's kind of sad. Not just because Christmas itself is over but also because it feels like the whole year ahead is just going to be blah. Same old grouchy people, same old spiritless atmosphere, and just blah. I want Christmas to keep going... where everyone is nice and happy, and where everyone is celebrating and having fun. I'm kind of afraid the nice people I met on Gaia during this Modmas/Christmas event won't talk to me as much; now that the event is over and the holiday gone, it's like everyone is going back to their own thing. I don't want to lose my new friends. sad
We have an opossum in the yard. >.< I opened the door to let the kitty out and he was on the porch eating her food. What a fat little puffball. He waddled down the steps and went and hid under the bridge.
I'm going to be posting entries here from my Modmas rp. I hope, if anyone does decide to read this, that you like them! n.n
Hmm... I think that's it! Yay!
